I passed on both when they originally came out. Wasn’t into the X-Men and focused more on my Hulk, Avengers and Spider-Man addictions. Remember my friend moving one of his copies of 94 a month or so later and trading it for a stack of books. Have only ever owned one copy of GS X-Men 1 and purchased it to flip. Recently picked up a copy of issue 94 for my personal collection some 40+ years after I initially passed on it.

I think the situation would need to be taken into consideration. This was not an attempt to remove 1-2 inches of damage, it was 1-2 inches of additional damage added trying to remove the book from the inner well. Then again, CGC has made decisions that seem to defy any type of speculation we may throw around here on the forums.

The short answer is they have multiples of the same book. In some cases they may have hundreds of copies of common books.

The correct way to have addressed this was to simply ask if neatstuff was a reputable seller.

I’m also wondering how vintage fast track is doing.

I have seen books pressed with such high heat that they were scorched. In this case, I think scorched or burnt paper would be a better description compared to poorly pressed.
