    I do not think any successful movie or tv show has ever resulted in a bump in actual comic sales. Comics may survive if only to feed the movie market.

    The problem is that Captain Marvel is only a big name because Marvel said so. Marvel wanting a "Wonder Woman" does not make it so. The character is fine. I enjoyed the first movie. She is not a top three character.

    I doubt even a perfect FF reboot X-Men intro to the MCU can reach the fever pitch of Endgame.

    Considering the fan outcry for the Snyder Cut, the dramatic spike for JLA is understandable. Black Widow suffers from a year of nothing, which is too bad. I am actually surprised how well Eternals shows, considering the trailer.

    I think it is realistic that any MCU movie (other than Spidey) will be see a large drop off compared to Endgame. Many casual fans may be slow to get back onboard a Marvel "commitment".

    I enjoyed it. Not Rick and Morty level, but enjoyable. Tons of references for fans. I get a kick out of the articles revealing that the show would not be tied to the MCU. Ya think?
