  1. I bought them on the boards. Such sweet copies. I bought signed ones too. There's no reason why they aren't all 9.8s.
  2. If that's the contribution from the guy who writes the War Report, we can assume the answer is "no" Just assume that all comics won't increase in value after an apocalypse.
  3. So you guys only want to bid on auctions . . . which have at least 1 other bid - picky much? I guess so.
  4. ............if Andy is actually in his booth. If not, swing around the corner and say hi to us. Edited 6 hours ago by kimik
  5. Hey Nathan! Happy to have you here. I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun and learning as you go along. Question for you, though? How did you find this thread? It's not pinned to the top of the first page, where it probably should be.... @Architecht
  6. Good luck in finding your new guy or girl. I do believe that this area of the CGC boards would be better suited for what you're trying to achieve. https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/forum/19-comics-market-sales-advertising-ebay-dealers-etc/ I would re-post exactly what you posted in this thread and have both going. I do believe that CGC will delete this thread, so you may as well get the headstart.
  7. I have a feeling it's going to be a monster show because of this. such great news!!
  8. Who's to stop someone from walking up and meet Todd, with his CGC rep beside him or watching from a distance, and then get his comic signed? With the rep watching, it could be subbed Sig Series later. No?
  9. ...and saying hi to Andy @ Forest City Coins.
  10. I like to do an advanced search. If you like CGC graded books, then that's the word in your search bar. Hit the small word "advanced" beside the search button. I new page with a ton of options comes up. Look for Number of Bids, and select the minimum to be 1. Then go to the bottom and hit "search". Now, you'll have all of the auctions that at least one person feels it's worthwhile bidding on. This gets rid of the vast majority of carp.
