  1. Can I get a yellow label from a witnessed signature on a middle page of a book? On a couple of books I'd like the creators to sign where their characters show up. And in both cases it's in the middle pages. TY
  2. I'd be thrilled to have something like that too. It's akin to rare factory errors. However I could also see how it can potentially hurt the book even if it's just for PC. Because people might look at it like you've cracked it open yourself and swapped the label.
  3. The age of AI is here. Personally I'm not for or against AI generated cover art in the near future. So I'm fine with it. I would actually love to be surprised! So far AI generated art in other industries have surpassed expectations.
  4. If it's both then better (first appearance and happen to also be the first cover). Happens at times.
  5. Probably been asked before but, yeah, can a non artist sign a book and have it eligible for yellow label grading as long as it's witnessed by a CGC rep? Suppose someone is good friends with a comic store owner or staff and wants his book signed by them for remembrance purposes, things like that...
  6. Now I haven't submitted my copy of this book yet and am a little concerned because looking at other slabbed copies online (see for instance the attached image) the label made no mention of other key first appearances aside from Munk, Larfleeze and Atrocitus. And we know this book also features the first appearance of the Orange, Red, Blue, and Indigo Lantern Corps. As well as the Black Lantern Power Battery - - correct me if I'm wrong - - so its more Key than what's indicated on the CGC label. How does CGC go about this? And your thoughts? I hope the info is corrected in the future. Much appreciated. Thanks!
  7. Hi I'm new. I posted this in another section the other day and it didn't show up, so I'll post this here again (probably because this is the appropriate section). How much of a downgrade will such a small crack on the back cover create if I have this graded? It's around 1cm long or less. All else about the comic book is perfect or near perfect as it's new. I've included external view and internal view of the back cover crack.
  8. Hi I'm new here and I don't know if this is the best place to post this, so... Now I've browsed a few topics on here today before posting and so I've read some of the members responses to certain topics, and so no I'm not asking how much of a downgrade this comic I have is going to get if I have it graded, or if whether I should even have it graded or not (because I've read people say that's subjective, etc). I'm also new to all this (to grading). This will probably be my first graded comic if I do submit it for grading. Now with that out of the way, let's get on with this. This is a new comic book so everything is perfect (or near perfect) EXCEPT for this one tiny little crack on the back cover. Around 1cm long or less. I think it's factory. Things to also consider: This comic is very sought after (no way to get a cheap copy now), and this one is also a signed copy. Is this crack a big deal now? Would this get a line of 7 or 8 (grade) instead of say a 9? Tnx in advance! Exterior and interior shots of the back cover:
