Steve is sad he could not make it to Baltimore

Nice eBay auctions ending, I got sniped on each book but it's ok.
I feel bad for the guy who paid 900$ for the Albatross #1, it sold for less than 300$...
dont feel bad for me or ffcomics as we both bought one for 900.00.. feel bad for the seller who only sold his for 300 last night.. This book is worth more then 900.00 there are only four of them! its worth every penny.. By far the hardest book of the goon series to get in 9.8... I wouldnt let mine go for a 2000.00 right now. I was going to take the one last night but decided to give it to TJ as he needed it more then myself!
So feel bad for the guy who took a major loss in the pocket and gave the book away! I know what my book is worth...

So what would the benefits of the Walking Dead #1 club be?
Not as great as the benefits of the Chew #1 OA club...
I happen to be a member of the Chew #1 OA club and the Walking Dead #1 OA club

TJ is right, he will not be at Baltimore.

Herb Trimpe was doing a donation for his Niece....so I donated and got this is in the mail.

Truely I am not a fan of Kirkman's signature (kinda sloppy) but it is a Walking Dead book, it deserves it. Tony has a great signature in my opinion.
-
I agree with Steve on that one.....Tony does some amazing sketches.

Great issue today!

FYI - I've had a problem with ffcomics. Purchased a magazine. Wasn't delivered. He eventually followed up with USPS (I received a inquiry about the magazine from the post office so I know he must have started the inquiry). That was months ago - he never settled with me. USPS only deals with the seller. Frustrating as heck.
This doesn't sound like Chris (ffcomics) at all......I've personally had dozens of transactions with him, and he is always as solid as they come. I'm guessing there is just some misunderstanding at the root of this transaction
I'll second that emotion.
ffcomics is a stand up guy. I have nothing but good things to say and transaction always smooth.
That's all well and good, but he still needs to follow-up on his transactions, and it appears that this one has fallen through the cracks . . . Chris?
Well this transaction goes back almost a year, 8/31/2008.
Comic was sent, a week later another comic. The first book did not make "get there" like he said and the second did. We went through the process of insurance. I called USPS, he got the paperwork and filed it to get his money back. All is well, a month ago I got a PM asking what is going on. I would like to protect myself, but keep him happy. But going back a year to collect emails, paper will take a go minute being in the process of moving. I will start tonight.

Nice catch Steve. I hope it is a dream........

Sweet TJ thanks for posting that.

heres my latest Goon acquisition, This was more expensive then a Goon #1 from avatar press as there are only 4 9.8s and is by far the hardest to score a 9.8! This bad boy moved me to 3rd on the registry...
Congrat buddy!

Forgot that I hadn't posted this in this thread.
Just got my Eric Powell commission of Buzzard up on the wall. I really love the drawing and can't thank Dan (Par2ch) enough for making it happen for me! Cheers!
Sweet TJ, Congrats!
