    Yes, the seller "SHOULD" have the book in hand but if the seller does not, the risk is on the seller to get the book to you in the stated condition within the time frame expected. All I know is I've never had an issue receiving the books I buy but I don't know if any were on consignment and the books were not in hand.

    I think we have enough selling rules as it is. I voted no new rule. "Nearly all" of the folks selling on this board are excellent sellers with no issues. I've only had one issue buying on these boards in all the years I've been here. As long as I get the book(s) in a reasonable amount of time and it measures up to my satisfaction or if there is a mix up and the seller fixes it, I could care less if the book was sold on consignment and the seller didn't have it "in hand" at the time of the sell listing. I'll admit the seller is taking a chance of not having the book(s) in hand and he will have to provide a solution if the books don't arrive in the expected condition or not arrive at all for some reason...Got lost, damaged...etc.

    Same here on my CL auctions. Most were dismal and a few were a disaster!! Not selling/listing on CL for a while. I'll just hang onto the books until the situation improves..provided it will.

    Same for me on the one book that the buyer didn't pay in the last auction a few weeks ago. I placed in the earliest auction I could which ended yesterday forgetting all about the July 4th holiday and most folks doing something else. It was a disaster. Sold for $53 less then it did the first time. First time the auction ended at $129...Yesterday's ended it at $76.

    My received date is 2/9/22 so looks like I have several more months before moving on from SFG. Next batch I send in, I'll just acknowledge CGC as just a long term storage facility and at some point after a very long time, you get your books back in some sort of plastic case with like a number on it on a nice pretty label. I guess that's what they mean by "long term storage". They decide to send your books back to you in a plastic case to "store" them in. ...hmmm. Interesting.

    Yes..I think there is plenty of room to drop a bit further. Unless you see more Moon Knight on the screen, the drop in value could be pretty significant.
