  1. I would be so mad if that happened to me. That is so pathetic! No way that should happen that often.
  2. Seems like comics were priced at 10 cents for a quite a while before the price increased to 12 cents. After 12 cents became 15 cents , Prices rose pretty quickly every two or three years I think for several years. You comic guru's please correct me if I'm wrong on any of this.
  3. Yeah, here's hoping you will receive "Good news" on your books very very soon.
  4. Well...good news....finally....My books have shipped! Arrived at CGC 4/29, Received 6/17, G/E/I for the last almost 7 weeks (tomorrow would have been a full 7), Shipped today!!!! My grades s u c k! I'm so darn Happy!!!
  5. It's going to come back a rock solid 5.0..I just know it is.. I'm going to be swimming in $$$$$.
  6. The only thing that really bothers me is there are submissions in the same tier as mine (Modern Slow) that were received later than mine. I'm talking just a week or two after mine with the same number of books that have already been graded and shipped! ("Nah! get this box instead. It's newer, We'll make this older received box wait a long time"). I know they are doing some testing out some new procedures for grading and getting the books out the door a lot sooner but those books are much later than mine...Like a couple of months later. Mine was received on 6/17 (SFG) and now have been in G/E/I for nearly 7 full weeks. Just crazy to me.
  7. Anyone know why E. Gerber is temporary closed? I just tried to call them.
  8. Yeah, said the same thing to me for my 6/17 Modern regular submisson that is going on 7 weeks in G/E/I. Told me last week it will be another 2 weeks...I didn't feel confident my books will ship in two weeks. I'm looking over to my left and I see Rod Serling's ghost trying to tell me my books are in the Twilight Zone. Wouldn't surprise me at this point.
  9. You're my hero now. I'll just have to settle for my 9.4 copy.
  10. It is for me. I do bid on a book every now and then and just factor in this sky high 20% commission. I hardly ever win.
  11. Yeah, but it's the best darn 7.0 you'll ever see..
  12. Well right now, I'm not seeing GEI moving to any other status. All I've got is long term storage.
  13. Hey wait, I'm telling you my "Samurai Cat #3" in just 7.0+ will be a gold mine soon...I just know it..overtaking AF15 in value in a few years...but I could be wrong on this.
  14. It's been a while since I've listed and sold any raw books on CLink via their exchange site. The one or two books that sold went pretty smoothly. You don't even have to send your books into them until it's sold from a buyer. it does take a while to receive payment from Clink though after you mail in the sold book. I think it took me a couple of months before I got paid. Something like that.
  15. Well...I do like eating popcorn while watching a movie. I'll be eating popcorn when I watch "The Eternals". I'm going to enjoy it.
  16. My Regular Modern submission has been G/E/I for a solid 6 weeks (received on 6/17/21). I called and the customer rep told me it would be another couple of weeks before my books will ship. Sigh!
  17. I've a nice raw set 2up but my #1 is not so hot.. VG+/FN probably. Has a big corner ding.
  18. Good or bad Eternals will get my dime.
  19. I guess we will find out. Loved the trailer. I have good vibes about it.
  20. I only read the first book but it was really good. Can't wait to see this.
