I have an order of 17 moderns received 5/27 with no change in status yet.

It's too bad there doesn't seem to be a solution to 3+ month turn around times aside from paying extra. Unfortunately the competition can't do any better so it's not likely to improve anytime soon.

I know it's been said, but that 7.0 looks sharp. I'm currently looking to join the AF15 club but I'm looking in the CGC 4.0-5.0 range. It's hard to believe the prices these could have been had for just a few years ago compared to today. Simply amazing.

I have a boxed Neo Geo Gold US AES with two controllers and a dozen games that I am looking to trade for comics.

 

Picked up the Neo Geo X and decided I didn't need two systems.

I definitely needed this score as I was feeling pretty down after buying two 3do systems from 2 separate sellers on craigslist this weekend, and neither one worked properly. If anyone knows who may have a replacement cd drive for an FZ-1 3do I'd love to know about it.

So I've been looking for Mega Man 1 forever, but I didn't want to pay ebay prices for it. I figured I would come across it in the wild at a flea market or garage sale, but for the last couple years I've had no luck. I stopped by a local vintage game store today and not only did they have it, but it was only $9.99! To top it off, he had a second copy with a set of MM 1-3 for $49.99. Since Mega Man's are so tough to come by I bought that one too. Total was $64 and change but I finally got my game! Sorry for the crappy camera phone pic. All labels are in nice shape.

So these are some of my notable pick ups from the last week:

The N64 games came from a player/collector who needed some cash to pay his rent, so I made him a fair offer for both of us. The lot included a few more boxed games not pictured which I will post another time. The other stuff came from a local flea market from two different video game vendors. The first vendor had Zelda for NES and Knuckles 32x, but if I had more money on me, I would have bought a number of other things from him. I'm still kicking myself for passing on his copy of Contra Force.

It also came with quite a few cartridge only games, including some rarer ones like Jackie Chan and Felix the Cat.

I was out shopping the flea market today, and picked up a few good items for resale such as an N64, some N64 controllers, Super Nintendo system and an original NES. The best find of the day however was this little guy:

The best part is, the save battery still works after all these years.

Not sure if people are video game collectors, but I snagged a ps1 lot off craigslist a couple days ago.

 

Suikoden, Final Fantasy Tactics, Anthology, VII, IX, Lunar Silver Star Story Complete and Lunar 2 Eternal Blue Complete.

 

Lunar 2 is the only one incomplete missing the book and medallion, but everything else is complete and all are in great condition.

That's a great score. I picked up a NES complete in the box off craigslist today for $30.

What is the story behind this book? It has a $1.75 price, and was reprinted 2-3 year after the first print right?

Was this a promo or an actual third print?

Yeah, this copy has a spine stress on the back cover, but the front is near flawless.

New Mutants 87 9.2 (figured 9.6/9.8, not sure what I missed?)
