We got Phantom Lady so I'm not sure we missed out much by not getting his version of WW.
I do love the Phantom Lady books but I’d still like to see his WW!

The “Raboy Superman” would have been the greatest rendition of the Golden Age Superhero followed by the “Baker Wonder Woman.” Just imagine how amazing they would have been…
I’d have loved his Wonder Woman!

Is that your sensation 1? I’d love one someday

The 1st golden age comic I ever seen in person was by mistake. I went to this old comics book store about an hour from my house in Worcester MA back in the late 90s… I was looking at older Wonder Woman comics and found Wonder Woman 22! It was cheap I thought for such an old book. It was in ok condition but complete. My memory says I only paid $22 for it back then. I’m not sure if I’m remembering right but that’s what I remember. Later I’d look for others and got quite a few over the years but mostly comic buyers newspapers. If only I had bought sensation 1 back then!

Not that we are aware of. The only two that seem to be known are Superman 27 and 28. I would love to have the paperwork that the U.S. Army had associated with the ordering of these comic books from D.C. Rest assured that very few of those types of records survived.
Thank you for the information

I never heard of this! Super cool 😎! Did they ever do sensation or Wonder Woman?

Very cool topic. I used to wonder about the names on some of my comics. I’ve search one or two but never found any but do wonder what happened with them.

I think that’s cool 😎 as someone mentioned Superman stands for Truth, Justice and the American Way!

I’ve never had a book graded but one day would would like to do some of my golden age books but I’m nervous about sending them off. I’d only do it for my personal collection so what I got as a grade probably wouldn’t make a difference to me.

You tricked me on WW2, I will not make the same mistake on WW3. I will not be seeing WW3 for at least a couple weeks after opening to see/read the reviews. God, WW2 was a big old dump.
I know right? Like supes, bats and spidey never had a bad movie? Wait I guess they’re had a few… but WW one bad one and she’s done? Ever see the 80s, & 90s cap? Pretty bad.

Amazing to see this! What did he charge for sensation 1 in that condition? I’d love to see that.
