Hello, I am unable to add three cards to the Registry. Each card that I tried to enter was met with the following response: Not sure if the system is down... This card is not in the CGC database. Are you sure that you entered the correct number? Yes Go back We will review this card and you will be notified of the results. Add More Cards Thank you

Hello, Would you add the 1966 DC Topps Batman Black Bat Cards to the registry? Thank you! -
Are the Registry awards announced today?

The registry competition is showing the number two competitor with a higher total point value than the number one position leader... Might be a glitch or something. Thanks.

Don’t change CGC card labels
Brain replied to EpicPulls's topic in CGC Trading Cards General Discussion
If CGC is indeed loosing their grading standards, then they have an identity issue. High standards should not be compromised, especially in business. If CGC lowered its standards for this merger, in the long run, they will most likely end up like other companies that lowered their standards. Hopefully, CGC is just re-tooling the grading scale & label optics and not their standards -
Don’t change CGC card labels
Brain replied to EpicPulls's topic in CGC Trading Cards General Discussion
I guess I will not send anymore cards until mid-July... I have a 50 percent completed Marvel Donruss card set, with most cards having sub-grades. Now, I feel that the sub-grades are worthless and was a waste of my money. Moving forward, I have to get my previously mentioned cards with the new labels, so that I don't have a mixed labeled set, which may have a perceived lower value. At the end of the day, its going to cost me more money & time (which I do not like) to adapt to these changes, but I will fully support CGC in this business decision. -
Don Russ 1966 Marvel Super Heroes Cards
Brain replied to Forbush-Man's topic in CGC Trading Cards General Discussion
Great... Looking forward to seeing them! Don"t forget to place them in the registry with the others! -
Hello All, It's a little lonely in the Marvel Donruss section! I would love to see some other Donruss cards. These iconic cards are the genesis of Marvel cards and have a special place in my heart. I would love seeing some cards other than the ones I own. So kick your tires and drive on over to the Donruss section and drop off a few cards! Thanks

Is CGC preparing to grade DC's 1966 Topps Batman (Black Bat) cards? I ask this question because I noticed the "Black Bat" cards in the drop down box as I searched for the 1966 Marvel Donruss cards for submission. Thank you.

Thank you and keep you the great job!

Any word on error cards (like the example above) that could have a different score. The example above is an extremely rare error. Thanks again!

Thank you!

Any estimated dates?

Will CGC grade the Gum 1938 Horrors of War, and 1940 Gum Superman cards in the future? Thank you!

Not sure if this can be answered at this point, but will cards with rare major errors/misprints have their scores affected by the error/misprint? Meaning, would the card have a higher or lower score because of a rare major error/misprint? Thanks.

Pokemon - Incorrect CGC Labels
Brain replied to YARNIN's topic in CGC Trading Cards General Discussion
Just had a quality control issue as well... Found my answer here... thanks Mike. -
I submitted a Marvel card (with a major error) for grading, using the express service. I paid $5, extra to have the card judged for errors. Subsequently, I received the card back with no comment or annotation of the error. The card in question is a Marvel Universe Series 1, Card Number 99, Famous Battles. The front of the card has X-Men Vs. Avengers and the rear of the card has Marvel Girl, Card Number 9. I hope this was an oversight or perhaps a simple mistake (not willing to say anything negative, CGC has been great thus far). What I really hope is that my Grade of 7, is not a mistake as well... Thanks. Below is what the back of the card should look like without the error.
