We are about 36 hours away from the cutoff. If you want to join the fun, time is running out. Thursday is the last day. Going from memory, I think @SpideyFein and @Haupia are some notable omissions. Joining the festivities this year?

Questioning me? Calling me out in public? You'd better believe the elves are gonna hear about this. 1) The raffle tends to happen the first free day I have that is likely to have good participation. When I took over the raffle, I tried to aim for the first Saturday after Christmas. That was complicated when Christmas was on a Sunday last year, but I happened to be off the following Monday, so it worked reasonably well I think. This year, I won't be available to run this thread until the following Saturday. It generally takes a solid 4-hour block (or longer) of focused attention to keep things moving. If someone wants to step up and run the live raffle thread this year (), I could be persuaded to change the date to whatever works best for them. 2) Perhaps you're mistaken. If you go back and read the first post, you'll find I made no such error. I'll be awaiting my apology.

I'd say this doesn't help, but I guess I don't remember who has been first pick each year. Maybe they did plead. I'm all for friendly pokes to people who may be interested. Let's not try to bother them if they aren't interested, but I'd hate for someone to accidentally miss out. The more the merrier!

Hello! You're welcome to participate. I will just encourage you to really consider whether or not you're in. In the past, we've had one or two newbies who have claimed an item and then disappeared without sending their offering out. It really puts a damper on the event, though we do have some amazing people who tend to step up and pick up slack created by others so no one is left out. As with any transaction here on the boards, proceed in good faith and you'll find yourself among friends.

You all are testing me this year. LOTS of posts with multiple pictures, which is always challenging. I'm going to take a little nap. While I do, feel free to check out the first page for the updated offerings list.

Such good stuff already! I'll mention that "reserved" posts for offerings will generally end up in an item getting skipped. Feel free to drop memes or tag people in this thread all you want...the more the merrier! When it comes time to post your offering, please make it a new post. This makes it infinitely easier to track items. Thanks!
