I am ONLY considering this because CGC doesn’t authenticate signatures.. I have a complete Dynamic Forces set of Venom Funeral Pyre that are in really good shape... Tom Lyle 866/2500 with COA...
do I CGC green label or CBCS and have it authenticated too?

3.0 IMO, press might clean it up a little but don't think it'll do anything for the grade. Is that a hole in the back cover?
No, its like a white out or something, paint dot -- not really sure

Pressing help you think? Enough to make it worth it?

EDIT: Ok, so this message will be on each of my posts - sorry was doing it from my phone last night which ended up looking like ... so, my goal here is 2 fold - 1st i was looking to test my grading skills; 2nd i was looking for peoples thoughts on pressing these (via CGC vendor) prior to grading; whether you think it will make a difference worth the costs or not... I was going to put my grades up after they had been reviewed a few times but have decided just to put it in the posts...
RE: New Mutants 98 - my grade is 8.5 (number of stress lines combine with creasing even though it is not color breaking)
- cover is flat but has a few small spine stress marks w/color break; I identified 2 non-color breaking creases
- corners are not too bad; some rounding
- pages are white to off-white
- back cover seems to be in similar shape as the front

EDIT 2: As requested on another post of mine I will try and attach the photos here for those who dont want to click links

Kinda curious to see how my grading skills are so this is 1 of 3... after I get a few hits I’ll chime in with my grade see how off I am...I’d put the pages as tan, obviously the spine has seen better days there is staple pull, some creases with color breaks, spine stress... and some kind of white spot on the back of the book

I was looking to slab for preservation more than anything but was also not looking to kill the value... not that there is much... it’s part of my personal collection along with an AMS 101, 300, 316, 361... and so on LOL... it’s more just trying to figure if the green label hurts the value more than a cbcs would.. I don’t like cbcs at all just the verify thing
