Hawkman covers are the best.

Thanks Ciorac, I'm trying to keep this thread going. Here is another Flessel New Adventure (#18):
That's a great cover....very american south seas/hawaiian vacation...
You guys constantly amaze me with the classic 1937-1945 books you pull out of your ....................collections.

Surfboards (I have 3 having just started last year).
My wife probably has every McDonalds Happy Meal Toy from the mid-80's through the mid-90's.

Still have the copy I bought off the rack back in the day.
No better return on investment here.
Good fun they may have been, but these daft reprint anthologies were just two of the reasons for the 1978 DC Implosion and Infantino's departure as publisher.Too bad, people just don't get enough Super Gorilla's nowadays.

Hi. My first cover post. I just got this one in yesterday.
btw - what is the optimal size to scan and/or post cover scans at? My first attempt and the board told me the file was too big.
Sorry, getting the hang of things here.
FYI - you can edit your initial post after uploading the attachment and put the url in there. This way you don't have to create two posts just to post the scan of the book.
Oh and that's one of the nicest copies I've seen from a scan - awesome book
Thanks. I was wondering how you guys got the scans into the original post. Now I know.
And, my first smiley.

Hey Silver. That was my vote for the best cover of the silver age! Beautiful.
I took a trip to a comic book shop today and was able to pick up one of my grails. Not high grade, but still a very pretty copy of a book that I don't see very often.

That's a beautiful book! Love those DC greens!
I just got that same Superman at Wizard World LA a couple of weeks ago. Bedrock City had three copies: 1 with color touch, one in G and the one I got, F-.
Which one would you choose ????
