  1. Thanks both of you. Is that the going price for Mandrake Spectre covers nowadays? I love his stuff. Guess that is the age we are in.
  2. Hey there, First off, is there a way to search comic connect auction results? If there is no way to search the results, maybe someone saw what the Mandrake Spectre cover and In house ad went for? Thanks in advance if anyone has details. Mike
  3. You really don't care for MTG art! You aint lyin'.
  4. I love the older art better than the modern art, mainly because it felt way more interpretive and less bound to the actual name on the card. I do not like how small much of the mtg art is so that has been a reason I only own one piece. I almost won Stone Throwing Devils many many years ago. Wish I had won that (it was cheap).
  5. I believe the seller. I saw a video of all his stuff on display recently at some show. The show was the Emerald Con in 2013 which you can view on youtube. I guess I am making assumptions as to whether all the items are owned by the same individual but I think it is a reasonable assumption given the framing jobs and vintage of work. The seller apparently is soliciting the lotus for 6.5M! Id rather have that 1st Wolverine page and 5.7 Million dollars myself.
  6. Just read on MTG art market forums on Facebook that Mox Jet and Farmstead sold. I believe someone said the Mox was $750K asking Farmstead 85K!?! Same person has all the power plus piles of other exemplary examples. Stuff like Wheel of Fortune, Cockatrice. Incredible.
  7. Peter is a standup seller. A book got damaged in transport and he took care of reholdering on his dime and time. Mad props, to a strand up guy. And great book to boot!
  8. Hi there, Seeing if anyone has any pages from Hellblazer 1-14 or Books of Magic 1-4 (first series only) for sale? I want some. Mike
  9. Hey there, I have been trying to find foreign magazines. Are there any dealers out there that anyone can recommend? I have had no luck on ebay thus far. Mike
  10. The tracking info says they basically never left SF, however SF says to call Florida. I have talked with them down in Florida and they tell me to talk to SF. The usual run around. They mentioned theft was likely so basically I am hoping someone tries to sell some of these books together as they are pretty eclectic and the culprits can be apprehended or the books recovered. Best case scenario obviously.
  11. Hey Folks, I sent an overnight package that has now been missing for two weeks. It was sent via USPS containing roughly 35 raw books from SFO to Florida. On average they are in the 8.0 range. I have been losing my mind trying to contact USPS and making inquiries with consumer affairs and their investigative unit. I figured there are some very savvy people here on the boards that might have some ideas, and in the very least you can have your collective eyes on the streets so to speak. I will include a list of the books in the package. Some of these books are a little more obscure so if they show up in one place at the same time they could well be stolen. Well, Obi Wan you're my only hope... 12. Looking for early Hellblazer and Books of Magic mini series pages. Also of interest are Lucifer mini pages. Spectre covers (Ostrander series) and Pratt Enemy Ace page also sought. I have some stuff I could trade. I also have currency. Mike
