  1. Well after the sad news about the funny business with the Tec #8 in the Mastro auction, I was feeling pretty down.

Then, like I was the Detroit Tigers, stagedoorjohnny offered me this books at a more than fair price. So we have agreed on a deal, in principle, for this book. Pending me putting cash together after the holiday season when I am no longer broke :(

I just couldn't wait to post it though

Since I passed on this book once already, it feels great getting another shot at it.

    :cloud9::cloud9:

    Thanks Dennis!!

Just when you think it's going to be another quiet weekend in the GA section, you come in with that!!! (worship) (worship) (worship)

well, the Gators are not in the SEC championship, and all my friends are tied up this weekend with plans, so I figured I would take some pictures! :)

    thanks

    Good plan (thumbs u

On a side note--is there no Marvel Mystery Comics registry?!

  3.

I have a complete run, love the Barbarian. Some of the most well written tales ever scribed into comic books. They were always entertaining books, and Thomas; had for me, a genius way of taking me into the story itself, and off to adventure in these far lands abroad.

    Conan will always RULE!!!!!

Yep, same here. A full run I began and finished as a kid. Some of the issues are pretty well read, and I can usually look at the cover and flash back to what is on the inside :cloud9:

  4. my cheslers; still missing a few [the missing ones are in my signature below--feel free to help me out with a private message], and i don't collect the star titles or feature funnies. just had to do a new library shot, and couldn't wait to get the runs complete.

    Nice shot!!!!

Were you standing on a ladder or hanging from a chandelier to get that photo?

  5. I wonder what the artwork to the cover of Action 1 would look like? hm:cloud9:

    Honestly....I wouldn't go there.

If Flee mocks it up and posts it, I guarantee you'll see the swiped image in a scam ebay auction within the year....probably with a story about "my grandfather worked at a printing plant in NJ in the 1930s, and I found this in his attic after he died, not sure what it's worth", etc.

That's a good point. Sad, but true.

Watch out! He has a test tube and he knows how to use it. My favorite mad scientist from May 1937.

Satan's scalpel. Is the monkey going to help? Not a happy thought but good for Halloween in 1935.

Isn't the monkey's head going to be put on the dames body like the one behind the bars? (shrug)
