I've been going through my old short&long boxes at my parent's crawlspace, and found a few signed books.  So far I've identified all but this one.  

Does anyone recognize who it could be?

I know this is an old thread, but has anyone gotten a Wizard Magazine CGC graded?  Nothing turns up when I try to google it...

I want to send in a book for the Frank Miller signing, which was already signed by Stan Lee and has a Stan Lee custom label.

However when I do my online submission, i search for the cert number and it pulls up all the info, but on the next page there is no option for the custom Stan Lee label.  

So how can I get this signed by Frank Miller and also get another Stan Lee label?

Just a follow up for you guys regarding the ‘swapped’ labels.  

CGC customer service did get back to me on Monday morning, asking for pics.  I sent the same ones I posted on this thread, and 3hrs later they replied with specific instructions for me to ship the two books back to them for a free re-holder service, with shipping label on their dime.  

The books are already back to them in the same box they came in.

1) The key here is to get CGC to re-label and re-holder at no charge to you. The only way to do this is to email/call them and send in pictures showing the comparative error. Once they see the pics, they will send you a pre-paid return shipping label for you to send in. They will relabel/reholder and ship back at no charge.

2) If you decide to only disclose the 9.4 and keep the 9.8, then you have no good reason to return the 9.4 ... other than you disagree with their grading. I would call them on Monday and explain the situation. They may ask you to ship them back and they'll take a look and rectify? Any time I've heard of a mistake being made (not often mind you), they've been real good about making it good again. Another reason I like CGC.

Yes, I've already emailed them, but I'll do a follow up call monday.  I certainly hope they'll cover all the shipping costs as well...

I just got my books back today, and I think CGC f'd up.  I had sent in two Spawn #1, and they got graded 9.4 and 9.8.  However upon inspection, I think they got SWAPPED.  The 9.4 looks like a 9.8, and the 9.8 looks like a 9.4.  Check out these pics:

The top left corner on the 9.4 is sharp and black, while the same corner on the 9.8 is not sharp and losing some colour.  The top right corners are not bad.

The bottom left corner of the 9.8 is tattered, whereas the 9.4 corner is again SHARP.  Similar on the bottom right corner, the 9.4 corner is sharper and cleaner than the 9.8

The back side of the spine has obvious differences as well.  The 9.8 spine is not white, whereas the 9.4 spine is clearly white.

What should I do??

Woohoo!  4 of the 5 books i sent in got 9.8! I sent them in thinking I might get 2x 9.8 max.  #HappyDay

Regarding the shortened signatures, I also think some of you guys who did the windowed bags underestimated how big Todd’s full signature is.  So if you cut a small window, he’ll likely do T.McFarlane, rather than do a cramped version of his full signature.

Just a thought.
