  1. So I obtained a few original sketches that looks like they were done back in 2002-2003 from a con in San Diego (not sure if it was Comic Con). I recognized a few of them but I'm stumped on the 4 pictured. Any guesses who they are? Thanks in advance!sketch1.thumb.jpg.12a39a7059cd96b39a5ba13bab0100f4.jpgsketch2.thumb.jpg.85a20f82487ef819aa8f12f0eafba8a6.jpgsketch3.thumb.jpg.7edbc9159d045325d551d185e171fd5d.jpgsketch4.thumb.jpg.c53755c23660bf2aa11eff54e2c917f8.jpg

  2. Me personally I would not take the chance on cracking the slab for the Stan Lee signed 9.8 and the Hulk 180 isn't going to really go up in value exponentially w/ a Hugh Jackman signature (especially with that low of a grade.) Just be wary, though, these celebrity signings by CGC are not guaranteed to happen within their scheduled dates. I have a books for the Gal Gadot and Florence Pugh signings being held there for over a year now.

  3. Anyone having problems with this retailer? I've been asking about my copy of Last Ronin #1 that was supposed to be signed and remarked by Kevin Eastman (back in February 2020) and they're giving me the run around saying that CGC still needs to return the books to them. Anyone can confirm this (from CGC or otherwise?) They've literally stopped responding to emails or giving updates on their FB page about this. I know CGC's turnaround times are currently pretty atrocious for magazines but this was over 2 years ago.

The signing hasn’t happened yet unfortunately due to scheduling conflicts with her ongoing projects. We are still actively working on setting it up though.

This is pretty disappointing, but not on Gal Gadot's part. CGC should have made sure that the schedule is set in stone before making these announcements. Who knows when this signing would actually happen but in the meantime not only does CGC have members' books, but also their money as well.

It's a newsstand for sure but there's not enough to have CGC break it out in the census.

See link below for what CGC would consider in breaking out newsstand and directs for a particular issue

E.g., Amazing Spider-Man 607, the newsstand edition has a $3.99 cover price but the direct is $2.99. CGC distinguishes between the two.

Thanks, this is the info I needed. Looking at the barcode I had a suspicion that it was a newsstand but I just couldn't find any sources that it actually exist.

  6. Could anyone confirm, is this a newsstand copy of Wonderful Wizard of Oz #1? I've been trying to see if this actually exist or if there are any records of it being an actual copy (CGC do not have this on their census.) Is there anyway to get in contact with CGC if they could designate this as a newsstand/variant edition since I'm thinking of sending this in.
