Been on a spending spree recently trying to complete my run of ASM 51-200 in min 9.4 (hence sales of my silver surfers on ComicLink, my latest sales through e-bay and pretty much every marvel bronze age comic in heritage's latest auction + Cap America 100 and FF#14 (FYI none pressed and all rated prior to submission to Heritage so bid confidently)). Hi, had posted my latest purchase in the Detective thread in the Golden Age section but as so many read the Comics General section thought I'd share it with you. Purchased Monday and awaiting delivery: Detective Comics #31 CGC App 8.0 (MP): Vault Auctions As stated in the Detective thread I'll be grinning from ear to ear for the rest of the week

Could'nt resist buying the Detective #31 Vault Auctions listing. Vault Auctions Only spotted it 3 hours before auction ended and though I never normally buy plods it is a #31 in MP 8.0. Ended up highest bidder but hadn't met reserve. I do like Vault Auctions in that it prevents last minute sniping. At end of auction all those who have previously bid on an item can bid for a further 4 minutes. This 4 minute period continues to rollover till there hasn't been a bid for 4 minutes at which point the auction ends. If you win the auction but don't meet the reserve the highest bidder os offered it first at the reserve price before it ges on open offer.
