TTA #3 8.0!! And it went for less than the 7.0 copy did 2 Clink auctions ago!! Prices were crazy strong on the preheros. No doubt the sheer volume of hg phs lead to some of those nosebleed prices. Glad I'm not starting my sets now or and that's on a good day!!

Is it just my perception or has this thread and the group behind it single-handedly increased the desire to find higher grade copies and more and more CGC submissions in the last year or two?? Thus driving the cost of anything 7.0 and above to command multiples in guide... I'm sure we have had some influence on pricing, as well as demand. There are many other collectors out there who are not on the boards, or at least don't post here, that are buying these books as well. And HG copies are constantly surging in price, which is good if you got 'em but bad if you need 'em!!

Rich and I have had that conversation regarding 108. It is also my favorite cover. You can't go wrong with this cover!! Have it framed on the wall next to this book: Yellow themed covers unite!! Yellow is a tough cover to find, this one has Dr. Strange. 9.6 ASM 109 Or my raw ASM 121 ASM #121 + 122 represent one of the greatest stories in all off comic history. I do believe this to be one of the best covers of the series: where cosmic meets mortal. I love it too for exactly that reason.

Love that cover, the Scarlet Beetle effin' rocks!! This was the first book I bought for my TTA hero run, now complete. How much more menacing is the SB with human eyes rather than the compound eyes of an insect?
