Well I don't definitely won't hit that timing, still holding at Received 14 business days later...

Question, turnaround time on reholder Received book in damaged slab, no damage to shipping box at all so had to leave the shop in this shape which I'm a little frustrated by. They allowed me to return it due to mechanical error to reholder free of charge. I was under the impression this would be expedited through the process since it was clearly a problem on their end but doesn't look to be the case. Book shows received 2/24. Looking like it's going to be every bit of standard reholder estimated timing and maybe then some. Anybody had this done lately? Hoping they wrap it up this week....

I bought this one in early 90s. I looked for a very long time to even find a copy much less purchase one (pre ebay days). But once I did I scrounged the money and bought it, it wasn't really a sought after item at the time and was in kind of a lull with collectors but it was sort of the reason I even got interested in comics in the first place trying to find this book I'd just heard about but never seen. I've moved a gazillion times since then and lugged it with other long boxes from place to place and finally got it graded after value shot up so much in last couple of years.

Is there any cleaning that would remove the spots on the cover, above Punisher's head for instance, and whatever staining is on the interior of the cover and back?

Thanks for taking a look. I got this book in a trade about 15 years ago. I’ve always liked this book but really wish I had a better copy. Curious how others would grade it

Thanks for the responses, I have cover price invested. My overall goal is to downsize my collection and purchase a book or two to keep longterm (another poll for later :-). So, that being said, I want to maximize what I can sell them for so I can give myself the best opportunity to buy the most book for my money. Obviously if I can invest a little and sell for exponentially more that would be great. I know there comes a point where the cost to slab isn't worthwhile. These 2 books seemed to have some upside and I have them in high grades so that's why I just keyed in on these two.

I have these 2 books in 9+ condition, should get a 9.6/9.8, I'm planning on selling. Is the payoff worth the effort to slab or do I just sell them raw? I've looked at them on ebay and it seems slightly advantageous to slab but wanted other opinions. ASM 361 Iron Man 282
