My siblings and I inherited 24 vintage/golden age comic books that we are seeking to liquidate. These should be in the possession of someone who loves collecting golden age comics. 23 of the comic books are “Classics Illustrated” and one is “SuperDuck” issue No.25.
These are clearly used, most in fairly decent shape for their age (mid-late 1940’s to early 1950’s), but a couple are a bit tattered. They have not been “graded” or appraised and I honestly don’t know how to find the ‘HRN’ Number associated with the comic books.
I’d love to assess what they are reasonably worth and find a loving new home for them. Any suggestions welcome. I live in San Francisco CA and there are a couple comic book stores here that I’ll check out, but before I did that I thought I’d write a note here and see what the experts have to say.
