I just joined this forum, but have been grading my own books and noticing what grade go for raw books on ebay (usually overrated) and on sites like myComicshop and Heritage, which purport to have there own "professional" graders. Based on what I've seen from such graders I was thinking 7.0 until I noticed the chip out on bottom and thought 6.5. Then considered back cover more and went to 6.0 Maybe I am too optimistic or the "professional" graders are.

  2. One member mentioned cutting a board 1/32 of an inch. How did he accomplish such a precise cut?

    I recently purchased mylite 4 mil bags and Gerbers silver/gold fullback boards for my mid-60s Marvels. The fit is very tight especially with three microchamber papers put in comic. They don't fit well in a short comic box either. I was thinking of cutting the boards -  more like 1/8 inch -  but need to get cut precise and not leave fibers on board edge. Thanks.
