    With the creasing on the spine and that you said the holds around the staples arent the greatest I'm at a 4.5.

    Very solid book. There's a tiny CB crease on the BRFC corner, some wear on the top edge of the FC, and a couple of very tiny tics on the spine. 9.4.

    A press will smooth it out but I don't think it'll bump up the grade. 4.5-5.0

    I dont think the writing affects the book much in this grade. What caps it for me is the water stain in the middle of the back spine and all the creasing. I think after a good cnp this book might get a 5.5-6.0.

    I had this book at a 7.0, so for it to come back an 8.0 is awesome.

    I think this is a great example of where having a book in hand really changes the grade. I also feel that pressing it before sending it out really helped. I'll post pics once I receive my books.     It's a pretty common production tear with this book. There's a couple graded 9.4's on MCS with the same defect.

    Yes, I think it really helped giving all my books a press before I sent them. This book and my Cocaine Comix #3 came back a couple grades higher than I was expecting.
