It's a good looking 4.0
-
It looks like a 9.2 to me. The only things that stick out are the top left hand corner and the bottom righthand corner but they're both pretty small imperfections. The wavieness along the spine can be easily pressed out. If you did that I'd say it's a 9.4-9.6. Very nice gloss.

Hard to say for sure because some of the pictures have serious glare. I don't see where there is a 1/2inch color breaking crease on the back unless im blind. My guess is this is a 9.2 - 9.4. Those non color breaking dents on the back might be able to be pressed out with a real good presser. Hard to say though because how close they are to the spine. If they come out, Id say you might be able to come close to a 9.6. This assuming that there isn't anything else wrong with this book that just aren't picked up in the pictures or on the interior
I agree with Josh. It's a really nice book that would benefit from a pressing.

You got a couple of nice dents on either side of the X, the top right hand corner has a small color breaking crease, 2 small color breaks along the right side end of the cover, and a slight crease on the bottom right hand corner. If u got those dents and indentations pressed out I'd say 9.2-9.4. Definitely a 9.0 as is. My only other concern is the slight discoloration along the back bottom along the page. I'm not sure if that's a shadow or not.

8.0. A pressing would really help all the wavieness around the spine especially around the bottom left hand side.
-
The only noticeable flaw i see is the bottom right hand corner. Its slightly bent with a very tiny tear. A pressing would take that bend out. So as is 9.2, with a press 9.4. Great gloss and a dynamic action scene with great color. Very nice book.

I say 6.5. The cover has really nice colors and if it wasn't for that stain on the front and back I might have said 7.0-7.5
-
After seeing the spine in the bottom left hand area I'm feeling that it's more like a 5.0.

9.8 but, wouldn't be surprised with a 9.6
That means alot coming from you. You're very strict with your grading😁

Thanks for the info. Yeah that crease doesn't help matters too much either.
It's still a cool book to have

Besides the tear you also got a good crease above wolverine's shoulder. 5.5 IMO, maybe a 6.0.

No higher than 9.0 with the corner crease. Probably 8.5 when you add top edge wear. OW-W pages.
Great looking SA book!
Thanks for the feedback 😁

Thanks for the input guys. Eventually I plan on sending some of these books in to grade so I will definitely post the results. I feel it's a strong 8.0 with the potential of an 8.5 after pressing.
-
7.5 IMO. If the bottom left hand corner wasnt so blunted and if the spine didnt have those small color breaks I wouldve said 8.5-9.0. Great gloss and color.
-
8.5 The corners on the left side are a bit scuffed and there's 7 color breaking sticks along the spine although half of them aren't really noticeable. Beautiful book though.
-
Solid 5.5. Really nice color.
-
1.5. It's in pretty rough shape

I think the high gloss on the cover got you that 8.0. Beautiful book.
-
-
7.0. If it didn't have so many spine breaks I would've said an 8.0
-
I give it a 3.0-3.5. If the spine wasn't so bad it could've been a 5.0.

in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?

9.2-9.4 as is. The only things I see is the bottom right hand corner isn't sharp and the scuff on the top spine corner on the back. Very nice smooth glossy cover that would be a 9.6 IMO after you get it pressed. Nice book.
