  1. That's quite a smoke signal Steve. The natives will be sure to see that from any part of comic land.
  2. I have been told that the Cap 1 and Torch 5 went MIA. I've never seen the Reilly copy of either book, until now (Cap 1). I'm still imagining the Cap 1 rolled up with a thick rubber band on the pallet at the Berkeley Con, Easter Sunday 1973.
  3. I would value a Ped over a File copy. How much more? Not sure, but books being distributed, bought and sold at a single newwstand, and kept for many years in top notch condition is much more desirable than the some book(s) that were never circulated and were just stuffed in the publisher's file cabinet. Although, the Marvel 1 File/Pay copy might make for an exception
  4. For sure. All the Caps were 1.5x+ in the 90s when I was looking. Finally got a Cap 4 and 34 (D copy) and they were over guide.
  5. Agreed Jon. It appears 4.5 - 5.0 to me without seeing in hand.
  6. 2.0 The math work appears easily erasable. Otherwise, they will probably note the pencil markings on the label. You can request lower grade Blue over higher grade Green and they will do so if Green is in play.
  7. maybe 5.0? But CGC may deduct down to 4.0 - 4.5 for water damage on BC.
  8. I meant to say finally a "Roy" post in "this" Marvel 1 thread
  9. I forgot about your copy Leroy! Make that two January copies LOL
  10. First time seeing this copy as it went MIA long ago. Also, first time seeing a January (1-8-41) arrival date on a Cap 1 which was nearly 3 weeks after it's initial release (12-20-40).
  11. That was the one book of the Reilly's on the cart that Manyak told me was slightly rolled up and had a big rubber band around it back in Easter 1973. Imagine that. Went MIA all these years and here it is.
