  1. My local hobby shop was my Nirvana. The nearest comic shop was miles away, and inaccessible as a kid, but the hobby shop was at the end of my block. I would spend hours there trying to figure out which model kit I would buy to build: military planes and vehicles, muscle cars, monsters. Great memories

  8. My older brother had one of these electric football games. You'd line up the figures in an offensive set/formation, turn the nob, and the board would vibrate, moving the players to execute the play...in theory. The vast majority of the time, the players would move in every direction except where you wanted them to go

  11. I had a Smash-Up Derby set as a kid. Loved it Pretty sure mine was one of the later versions
  12. Kids today think they're the only ones to have handheld games. We had them back in the 70's, with state of the art graphics
