this great cover was printed right on time,, the Germans only declared war on the U.S. Dec 8th 1941, one day after Pear Harbor , this issue, with a cover date of Jan 1942, came out just 23 days later
Actually issue #44 was probably on the stands sometime in November of '43, and issue #43, which also sports a war cover involving the Germans was on the stands a month earlier than that. So those great covers were printed ahead of time, ahead of the Germans declaring war. In fact, these two covers might have even angered Hitler so much that they caused the war.

the book below is a top-five fave of mine from the whole collection [when i sold the cap run, i kept only this and the cap 9, the first g.a. book i ever grabbed] i can't tell y'all how many times i've been told "that shouldn't be in a green label," whether verbally or via a post on this board [was graded a looooong time ago]. so, i decided to check to see if under today's standards it would still be Q. i was told it would likely go blue today. but, and i can't say i understood why, it wasn't as easy as a reholder, but would have to go thru the grading process. i'm not a big comic cpr-guy but i figured i'd press it since it wasn't a mere reholder. the heartwarming part... it is now a 7.5, and will be in a beautiful ped gold label!!!! can't wait 'til it's here and i show y'all a pic!!
Matt can work some magic. Did he fix the registration issue?

Notice there's no price on it; they were give-aways.
I was aware of that. I didn't remember having one and was surprised finding it in a box, so I posted it. Ricky is just poking fun, like he often does.
Absolutely poking fun. Major Inapak is legitimately one of my favorite comics. All Bob Powell. Great Sci-Fi. And can easily be had in nice shape for about $5. We opened in 1990 and I bought about 200 copies from a dealer to put out on the new issue racks. Love the book...

I thought that also and will contact, but who knows if that buyer still owns it, I just hate to toss it!
Consign it to Heritage. You may get a few bids.
