  1. Thanks for the 6 cents! That's what I was leaning towards, I just wanted to see if there was a strong consensus to do something OTHER than leave it be.
  2. You could call this a...pressing concern...? I have a Fantastic Four 52, CGC 3.5, unrestored. The grader notes: heavy creasing to cover heavy staining to cover moderate tears to cover. A few questions: 1) Would pressing likely help this book gain any grade? I know it won't help with the stains or the tears, but there are some bends/dents/folds. 2) Is there ANY way to help remove the staining WITHOUT getting a green-label? Same with that random marker on the moon. Can anything be done? 3) If restoring, how much would this gain in terms of grade/lose in terms of value? 4) Should I just suck it up and keep this book EXACTLY as is? Thanks!
  3. I have multiple copies of The 'Nam 2-24 if you get desperate. Happy to do some trading (not sure for what...but I'm sure we could come up with something!) DM me if you'd like.
  4. New Mutants including annuals - with a 9.8 CGC 87 and 9.6 CGC 98. Saga, Paper Girls and Ex Machina with a few grade 9.8s. TMNT (1984 Mirage) complete with all first prints. Almost done with Usagi Yojimbo first two series. Still working on the Albedo 2, 3, 4 to kick it off.
  5. Thank you all for posting! I was worried. Fingers crossed and thanks to the staff for working to get things back up and running.
  6. Stan Sakai Peter Laird/Kevin Eastman (do they count as one or are they still fighting?) Brian K. Vaughan (if Laird and Eastman can count as one...)
  7. Sent it back in. Seems most predictions were spot on. The CB issues kept if from jumping much higher, but it did get rid of the dents/bends, so the grade increased to 7.5. Definitely worth it for this particular comic, but you're right...doing it the first time round is the way to go.
  8. I've noticed that there have been quite a few private signings scheduled during covid-19. Is this a typical rate of in-house signings or is this uncommon due to shows being canceled/postponed? Also, any idea if there are more coming?
  9. I just got back a TMNT 1 (First Print) from CGC. It graded at a 7.0 with White Pages and the following notes: Grader Notes: Center Back Cover Moderate Multiple Indent Spine Stress Lines Breaks Color Top Front Cover Small Heavy Indent Whole Book Finger Bends I am considering sending it back in for pressing and a regrade. Is color" (grammar there somewhat bugs me) will keep it from being perfect, but the other ones don't seem to break the color and the pages are in great shape. In your opinion(s), would the color breaks keep this from anything above a 7.0, or would pressing help me get to a higher grade? On this comic, the cost to do do so compared to the potential value is a pretty huge difference. Thoughts? Pre-grading photos are below. know that the "spine stress lines break
