Are you going numerically or might there be some more lower numbers?

Da rules:
- Paypal Goods and Services for payment.
- No returns on slabbed books.
- Payment is expected with 24h of claiming a book unless we've arranged something prior.
- Claiming in the thread trumps PMs.
- Shipping is $15 for one book in the USA (no international shipping - sorry!). Happy to combine shipping - ask for a quote.
- Happy to answer questions, provide more pics, etc. Will also entertain offers.

I called today. My Value and Economy Tier books received on 9/14 are being finalized at CCS and should be transferred to CGC "in the next few days"
FWIW, CCS charged me on 12/28.

New Modern turnaround times for pressing is 99 days and 82 days for grading...
What the actual **** !!!!!
It means that, if you submit now (without fast track), you will receive your comic between August - Septembre...
I’m a bit shocked... CGC really needs to hire more people...
August? Only if you submitted last year! I have 20 some books that were received on 9/14 that still haven't left CCS. At this point, I'll be happy if they arrive before my birthday in the summer.

Do you have a ASM 118 or 135 coming?

9 value, 3 economy. Recieved 9/14. Charged by CCS 12/28. Not received by CGC yet.
Will I get my books or a Covid vaccination first?

Press will help. Out of curiosity, what grade did it get?
Its like the best looking 8.0 I've ever seen. The edges and corners are sharp, the cover is super clean - it actually looks pressed. But two of the corners have significant ncb creases and this thing you can see on the back. High quality press and re-sub sounds like a good idea
Graders notes:
CGC Grader Noteslight rippling/warping top of back coverlight staple rust w/ stains centerfoldvery light, multiple staple rustedvery small dent center of spinevery small tear right top of back coverI can see a spot of rust on the staples now that I'm looking for it. I dont know if the accumulation of defects makes a press worth it or not...

I just bought this and it looks amazing for the grade. I haven't gotten the graders notes yet, but a once over shows this extreme waviness on the back cover as the major grade hit. I'm not one to crack and reslab, but it seems like it could be worth it here.
Could whats in the picture here be pressed out?
I think the picture makes it look better than it actually is, btw.

What are your 2022 collecting goals?
in Comics General
Posted
I'm working on finishing my ASM run. I think 16-50 is the goal for 2022. I have all the keys except 20 and 50 in that range. I missed my goal of 51+ by three books in 2021, but I think I've got those three now, so we start working back.
