  1. P.S. I have a feeling that the expert grader is the world renowned Chuck R.
  2. Notice how this person avoids our number 1 question i.e. Who is the grader? and offers answers to questions no one asked such as Are you a comic grader? and How many books have you sent in?
  3. The best way to expose a conspiracy in a company is always on that company's own website.
  4. One of the coolest drawings of the Torch on that #11, Gotta pick one of those up sometime.
  5. Kit looks like he's about to cry in the post-code. Plus, there's no arrow in the old man's heart.
  6. Well then tell those slabbers to stop wiping boogers on them...
  7. Thanks! I would like to add some Yellow Claws to my collection but I doubt I could find them for $16 (which IIRC is what I paid for the Black Knight I was happy with the price) The Jungle books from Atlas are also great btw. Not to everyone's tastes but pleasant art always. Have you read Jungle Tales #2? The Romita art in that is excellent.
  8. Great books Scrooge! Definitely a lot of value in low-grade Atlas. Black Knight is my favorite Atlas series with some of the best art I have ever seen to date. (Yellow Claw is in 2nd BTW). I'm diggin those Mad rip-offs too.
  9. We should talk to Stan. He seems to want to make some cash. Not much for today on his original appeal (Fighting Nazis in Nazi controlled areas) but maybe a modern ret-con in the Middle East. PS LMK if you find a Mystic #4 not suited to your collecting tastes.
  10. I like them both Billy, but I like the Plas better Looks like a Mussolini cover to me.
  11. trust me...as a run builder, I have settled many times, but eventually, I have always found an upgrade (sometimes sooner than later, sometimes the other way around) keep the faith! Those numbers. Is that a pedigree of some sort? I recall that on other books.
  12. The first thread to ever ask a question and answer it in full in the first post. :winnah:
  13. I can picture you awake at 2 AM with a pyramid of empty Coke Zero's posting greamlins and scanned books over and over while repeating "gotta beat greggy, gotta beat greggy"
