I saw a week ago it was a $200+ book and I had flashbacks to 4-5 years ago when I was trying to buy copies for $15 when they were $20-30 on eBay

when I first checked only two graded copies had sold, now more have caught on, its been undervalued for years

Birds of Prey 56 suddenly became a $30 book again this weekend after being stone cold for months 🥶

And books that suddenly explode don’t go from $10 to $30 they go from like $10 to $100-200! The day New Mutants 100 3rd print becomes a $100 comic raw... oh boy

I feel for new collectors as even the stuff like ASM 316 which isn’t a key is now getting priced out

That’s a good one. I picked up another copy yesterday to sell so I can keep my high grade copy and not feel bad

ASM 316 also on fire and blowing up.. I remember I would buy that for $10-15 and sell them out for $40 easily. That was 4-5 years ago. Even paying $20-30 is good. Also undervalued. All these longtime high print run comics are suddenly popping. Like 25 different comics every week. Don’t feel bad when Spectacular Spider-Man 1 suddenly becomes a $200 comic raw. That’s the first Spider-Man title after ASM and has severely been undervalued and under appreciated for decades. A longtime $20ish comic

X-Men 133 on fire also.. long undervalued and under appreciated. Classic Wolverine cover. Gone are the days of getting a 9.8 under a thousand Not long ago it was selling for $700-800 Jan-early March.. now it’s easily above $1k

It was a longtime scoffed at $5-10 comic that many gave little to no thoughts about. I have a hard time putting my copy in Mylar but it’s hard to not w current raw prices.

Yes the last of this era. I don’t know when it started. But come April 1st I’ll know when it ended that’s why they’re doing this.. unless they’re doing it for Easter as well
