    I remember back in 2016 I bought an advertised 2.0 for $70 best offer and that same night an auction ended for a higher grade copy for a lower price... regret not buying that one because I had already committed to buying the 2.0 ... Ghost Rider #1 is a monster book that is never cheap... $100 minimum any grade

    Invincible 60 2nd print has been a slammer for a while.. I remember buying that issue off the rack at my LCS... I was astonished to see one of the very few Image crossover events.... hasn't been that many in almost twenty years not including Image United

    You don't HAVE to do anything... they're yours to keep right? Just enjoy them.. the costs will add up greatly the more you submit for grading.. Just slab the big key issues like 48, 49, 52, etc

    A lot of shops in Dena at that time did not have back issues as their main source of income... mainly current new releases and even figures, toys, tpbs, cards, statues, posters.. it's just a lil piece of the pie for their showcase

    Sounds like the guy bought it from ebay as a restored copy and then cracked it raw as trade bait.. don't know if the original ebay seller of that restored copy is at fault

    Did Kenny So from Comic Odyssey or John Chang from JC's Collectibles offer your brother $500 a decade ago? Both Dena shops are closed... but they sold keys very affordable back then so I think $500 store credit is a very fair price.. If they offer $500 they want to make at least $1500

    Sales are still very strong.. I have buyers literally coming to me paying top dollar for the highest grades possible... I think they see this a "buying season" ... it'll be interesting to see how sales will be in autumn

    Nov 2015 I sold a batch of original photos from the 60s of the original Blue Demon and El Santo among others for a mere $35... wish I hadn't done that.. I know so many sellers feel that way about the stuff they sold to me too so i guess it's balance.. someone also got a nice spidey 2007 fcbd from me the other day hah

    Sold for $860 ... There was another HoS 92 that ended this weekend ... I won it via second chance offer... I think the seller over shilled his own auction. He said the winning bidder bid incorrectly and didn't have the money ... that bidder bid twice the same morning the auction was ending... so yeah..

    This past weekend I bought an expensive grail comic via 2nd chance because a buyer with 2 feedbacks "bid incorrectly" and "didn't have the money".. I honestly think the seller shilled too high on his own auctions..

    I remember when those were cheap.. but I still didn't want to pay those cheap prices years ago either because it's modern Star Wars
