    I always asked myself if I would rather own an Action 1 over all the comics I have and quite frankly I think I would still want to own all the comics I have.. because I would feel very incomplete with the only one gem

    EBay auction results should always be taken with a grain of salt.. just the past two auctions I won via second chance (so I didn't actually sell for the sold price) .. another I had to paypal more money for a guy who couldn't afford to send the comics via "free shipping"

    I don't think a new record would undo AC1 as the holiest grail.. it's been lauded that way for decades even before Tec27 was considered that expensive.. AC1 has a lot going for it .. all these are understatements of course

    I had something similar like this happen to me w wooden pull out shelves... I know the feeling... it's very dramatic and scary and frankly traumatizing.. to all of a sudden have mass amounts of uncontrollable weight start to fall on you.. luckily there were people to help push the shelves back up as they well collapsing on me. not great feeling helpless

    The Salvation Runs were on the racks raw along with all other new releases.. I asked the lady how much? and she said $20 each. Great score beacuse I never had a copy and was hunting one for years.. Neal Adams + Joker x Blood =

    The run I picked up from an estate sale for 50 cents each. Missing 4 and 8.. #12 is one of the best covers I've ever seen

    visually there might not be much noticeable difference from encased slabbed 9.4 to 9.6 to 9.8s.. you're just paying the assigned numeric grade
