  1. March 4, 2019 Just a $20 original owner flea haul. I was there hours after initial set up. The individual I bought these from said he'd be back every 3 months or so. Unfortunately I've never seen him since.
  2. 50,000 additional free listings with a store subscription also till end of July
  3. Me too.. mad underrated... especially on the important X-Men and Batman runs.. one of the best the past 20 years. super gorgeous pencils
  4. oh Sgt. Rock ... I saw an old back issue mixed in his boxes and he said that belonged to his dad so he had to keep that one!
  5. Found this in my collection remember buying it off the stand the Wednesday it released... nice Campbell wraparound
  6. Nov 17, 18 I'm scanning the type of offerings at this yard sale and I see a lot of recent release DC comics and some new DC t shirts some with Sgt Rock on them. I ask how much the comics are and I'm told 10 cents each! I'm getting the sense the seller might be someone special.. I know I've seen that face somewhere before. Once I mentioned his name he told me to take all his comics free of charge! It was Andy Kubert's yard sale! He didn't let me leave without signing his Giant Size Superman!
  7. I'd also add Alpha Flight 51 1st Jim Lee Marvel Art & Daredevil 254, 270 1st Typhoid Mary & Blackheart
  8. There's always a little boost w that 5% but it's mainly for lower priced items to sell that buyers were on the fence on.... this stay at home order has been a blessing in disguise for me as sells have literally never been better across the board
  9. 9/8/18 Paid $30 for this copper age estate sale haul.. always nice to buy Thrasher and Pushead two things you usually don't find in the comics area
  10. Couple years ago before the taxes hit in October eBucks bonus promos were usually 10% or 8% ...... there even used to be 15% off purchases also... those days are sadly gone :'( 5% is nothing.. nothing
  11. 4-14-18 I'm parked in my car waiting.. then I see other ppl around the area waiting for this yard sale to start.. the dead time leading up to sales always gives me anxiety.. this sale advertised silver age comics... no pics.. but the promise of silver age issues is decent enough for me to go.. as 30 mins approaches the start time no one on the block is setting up.. as 20, 15, 10, 5 mins lead up till the sale there are still no signs of life at this supposed "yard sale".. It's already 10-15 mins past the advertised time and no one from inside is coming out so one-by-one guys start leaving... I already came this far and waited so long that I figured waiting 30 mins past the start time was my max.... I circle around again as the last guy leaves (everyone was there for the comics)... It's time to leave... As I'm walking around the sidewalk corner I hear a loud bang noise! I see two cars that had collided abruptly in the street....The driver was furious that this woman had hit his car.. It was crazy to see one car swirl directions in real time.. One of the neighbors who hears the accident walks out so I tell her I'm here for a yard sale.. (lol at this point)... She exclaims (luckily) that she knew the couple who were holding the sale... (this is like 40-45 mins past the start time).. So I go inside the small apartment kitchen and see boxes of SA comics on the dinner table... In hindsight I was about getting a deal.. and should have bought the entire collection offering for $250 more but for $150 I don't think I did too bad
  12. I find myself regretting those "do I really need these?" purchases... they never seem to be worth it in the long run...
  13. A rainy 3.3.18 Paid $100 for around 100 GA comics.. anytime you're paying $1 a book for Fiction House is good
  14. X-Men 4 is selling pretty well... I'm noticing more now than ever that ppl really enjoy Jim Lee's 1990 X-Men run and many of his back issues like Alpha Flight 51 are selling well... He's selling off monster sketches on ebay every single day and I think it somehow is driving demand for his key issues
  15. I know many buyers including myself who bought up the Rebirth #1 issues hoping they would go up like all the New 52 #1's.... and I splurged on Spawn 298-301.. spending hundreds... I still like those issues 5-10 years from now.. but I would have rather been more tame on those Spawns
  16. I've noticed some lateness over a few packages.. mainly late scan upload than deliveries
  17. ASM 365 1st Spidey 2099 Avengers 257 1st Nebula 52 Week 11 1st Batwoman Batman 358 1st Killer Croc Detective Comics 583 1st Scarface Justice League of America Annual 2 1st Vibe & Gypsy Weird War Tales 93 1st Creature Commandos New X-Men 115 1st Negasonic Teenage Warhead New X-Men 128 1st Phantomex all are $5-30 books .. really cheap stuff and have some potential
  18. a lot of these books are already established modern keys versus unknown gamble books which I would call spec
  19. Sensational She Hulk 1, 60 Action Comics 500 (Infinity Cover) Old Man Logan 21-24 come to mind
  20. Good prices for the seller if you take the time to list them right. classic sets like V for Vendetta 1-10 sold for $300.. and modern classic story lines are doing well.. primarily my comment was directed towards more recent runs from like within the past five years or so are selling well.. because readers want to catch up on those recent releases and they won't be in trade paperback form until the fall or so
  21. 12-2-17 Cold misty morning..It's really nice and rare to find early bronze X-Men at yard sales.. $2 each .. The sale was so early allowing me time for a moving sale later that afternoon.. where I picked up those copper Marvels for $17 all in. I also picked up low grade Brave and the Bold 54 & Detective 359 for $75 each at that in-house moving sale..
