  1. Yesterday's garage sale pick ups. Nice runs of Spawn and GI Joe
  2. Went to a garage sale yesterday. It was a pleasantly cold morning. Many avid buyers showed up. Luckily for me I went to the best boxes first. Got all of these for $332.50
  3. Some comics I got from a couple stores and a dealer friend yesterday
  4. Some comics I got from a couple shops and a dealer friend yesterday
  5. Yeah we've all sold keys for pennies that exploded big but if you're a true collector we all still have a majority of the real good stuff
  6. Grendel’s been cold for decades. So you shouldn’t kick yourself
  7. That’s why it’s a good time to buy the stuff that’s out of sight and mind than wish you did when the time gets hot
  8. Yeah I remember seeing it there 2 years ago.. so I was pleased to see it there yesterday.. That character has come to relevancy in recent time
  9. I actually went back today. The owner didn't get to pricing the comics. He said it would take him 3 days. Mind you he looks up each comic individually on ebay and TPBs with his scanner. He's not a reasonable old school vendor but a younger looks up everything on ebay man. (He deals in video games so he ebays comics for prices). The laugh was more of a "F**k that, I knew this would happen" scenario. So I'm not really going to deal with this situation again
  10. I was biking on my way home and for the heck of it I decided to stop by a poorly run video game store that had some comics. I had bought around 20 comics for $2 each 2 years ago at this place. They were mainly $20-40 vintage keys. This time around the organization was way worse as the comics were in a dark lit corner with no fan/ventilation/AC... mind you it was around 90 degrees. So I spend around 2 hours looking through maybe 50 boxes that no one has been through for years. (Probably since I was last there lol.) Some comics are in dilapidated tubs, upside down, backwards, and in boxes that are breaking.. basically total chaos. I filled up 2 shortboxes with keys like Deadpool 1 1997, Inhumans 5, Ultimate FF 21-22, etc.. Since the owner had left early the clerk told me I would have to come the next day so he could price each comic out (at this point I'm laughing inside). Anyways I was sly enough to actually buy comics that already had price stickers on them. This is what I got for $15.
  11. Ultimate FF 21-23.. live action Marvel Zombies (I knew this would happen)
  12. I swear Galen, you are the slab master!
  13. That Trinity 1 is pretty cool. I remember buying it when it came out thinking it was the next big team up book since Batman/Superman went to so many issues in the 2000s.. what a time
  14. I doubt anyone actually pays for those facsimile three digits sales.. A facsimile selling for even $5 let alone $10 baffles me.... does anyone actually pay for those multi thousand dollar Disney black diamond VHS tapes?
  15. Iron Giant 1999 promo comic was selling Sep 9 & 10th for good amounts
  16. the FF 52 facsimile reprint from 2006 has been swindling buyers for years
