Great covers - fantastic looking books!
Hmmmmm..... what bank? Maybe I should buy a mask
Seriously, great looking books .......

Nice book Surfer...the colours (color for my American friends ) look fantastic. Do you like to have your Timelys graded. Most of mine are raw - vg to fine books. They kind of look really good in the CGC cases don't they...I have one Torch book graded, but wondering if I should get my others done .... not to resell, but just for appearance....mind you then I could not get at that wonderful GA book smell What do you think....
-
Mine too. I want to get a high grade one at some point, but most of mine are in the VG-Fine range.....but I just love 'em. 9.0 - that is just sweet. Gotta save me up some cash and get me one like that ...
Great looking book. Gotta love it.
-
Squid - Sweet book! At a great price too!
".....never thought l'd own a high grade Timely"......any Timely is a good Timely!!
Congratulations!
-
Sweet books! I really love that Torch #13. That is a killer copy.....love the action on it. Man I gotta get one of those - nothing like a blonde hanging over a pit of snakes... classic Schomburg. Great looking books .... congratulations on them...

Duh!!! I must have seen it on your site!!! Sorry, so many Timely on line that I look at. Just checked out your site again.....must be where I saw it from originally. Nice looking book. Do you have a scan of the Torch book you have listed on your site??? Would love to see it. Thanks for sharing...

Nice book! Gotta love it. I have seen that cover before somewhere.....did you buy it off Comic Link??? The chip on the spine looks familiar but I cannot remember where I had seen it. Nice looking book and classic issue for sure! Welcome....

Well, another new book for my collection arrived today. Low grade copy w/piece off bc and lower spine. Some creases, but what the heck - how can you beat that cover.....worm coming out of Hitler's ear as he sits on a chair of bones and skulls!
Glad to have added this one to my collection. Was a 2nd chance opportunity of eBay and I just could not pass up that cover...

Thanks to Andy (October) for another sweet Schomburg book!!!
Sweet!
Thanks buddy!!!

So I picked up this one today from the post box - thanks to Andy for another nice book. This is one off my "Grail List" so I was just thrilled to have picked up this one.
Lower grade book and has piece re-attached to the top right corner, but I am lovin' this book....just cannot get too many classic Shomburg war covers....one of his best (at least in my opinion) .

PS...ya, I much rather have unrestored books, but if that were the case, I would not be able to really afford the books that I want. When I recently picked up my restored HT 12 - which looks fantastic I might add, I could never have afforded the book in same grade but unrestored.
To me, good resto on a key Timely or one of my personal grails -- well, I don't care ..... bring on .....I will take em all ......
Send me your restored, your colour touched, your piece replaced, your purple labels....I'll take em all.....

Those are great looking books podboy! I especially like the robot cover on issue #23 - a classic cover for sure. Great stuff.
SS...I don't know how anyone can go wrong with GA Timelys. Is it possible - restored, unrestored, high grade, low grade. These books were some of the best ever. Covers that are what comics are all about. I love this stuff. To me - it is what comics are all about. I have favorite bronze and silver stuff, but I cannot resist this kind of stuff. Hopefully GA keeps flat for a while - although you don't see it with key Timely in any grade....to me, I much have a raw low or mid grade Timely book than a 9.6 or 9.8 bronze, copper or modern book. What say you...

Kudos to Rich Henn for a sweet HT #21. Great person to deal with. 5-Star service. Thanks very much Rich. Very happy with book!

This one arrived today...HT #21 6.5 w/moderate P resto. I love Schomburg covers and could not resist in picking this one up from Rich. Hey - Thanks Rich! Very happy with the book.
I have two more war cover books that I am expecting two more classic war cover keys arrive within the next week or so, so I can hardly wait...it is going to be a Shomburg kind-a-month for me so I am just thrilled!

Sweet Cap! Bet the colours look awsome when you have it in hand.
Nice buy for sure.

One of my all time favorite covers...classic stuff. I just love this thing
One book I really wanted for my "grail" collection. I am getting another "grail" book soon, so I will post another when I have it in my hot little hands! Gotta love Schomburg covers - I just never get tired of his stuff....
Some amature restro on it, but I could really care less...
Special thanks to Andy for the book...
This made my day.....
More to come...

I had a few Timelys up until a few years ago when I sold them all, so here is my first addition to the new collection I am starting up...not in any particular order, but these are my personal "grails" that I want to try and get...
Human Torch 5, 8, 12
USA 7
Marvel Mystery 40, 44
One down, several to go...anyway here is my first Timely, bought from LCS. Nice clean mid-grade book. Unrestored. Small crease break in cover top right corner. Great colours and classic Schomburg cover
Hope to get a couple more off my list over the next year or two...
Show me your Timely's and I'll show you mine. Have a Cigar...
