  1. Very nice Casey. Now upgrade your other Northlands and sell them to me. Maybe. But, I won't sell all of my Northlands. Sorry. Never say never. Don't worry, the kitchen remodel will decide for him. Yeah, just wait until the babies start to drop. Never too early to start a college fund.

  4. Here it is. The very first comic book that I ever purchased. This isn't actually it, but it is the representation of it. A big thank you to the person that made this possible.
  5. here's how i remember it; Thors, TOS, TTAs, Avengers (in the teens), Aquaman, Marie Severin covers, Pedigreed Sgt. Fury's, Green Lanterns, Batman/Tecs, 48/52 pagers. i think i have left out a run or two. Steranko Captain Americas, I believe. But it's not really that much of an ADD. If he could just stop saying he's finally focusing, he'd be just another comic collector with wide and fast-changing tastes... Im focusing on everything Try being the best at one thing instead of being mediocre in many Thank you Colonel Sanders.
  6. Have no fear, Jim. I don't think I could ever relate to you.
  7. Focus man, focus. Bring me up to speed. Thor, GL, Detective and 48/52 pagers. What have I left out?
  8. I think you're adding more into the comment than is there. But to answer your question, what's the difference between those two's desires and some freek having a desire to contact someone's kid they've seen posted here (and this has nothing to do with you Ze-Man...just an example...)? Jim One is two consenting adults freely exchanging contact information and the other is a pedophile. Well no kidding Doc...but the same thing applies... There's an inherent safety found behind the Internet and Boards such as this. That makes people much too trusting in my opinion. When you actually meet someone, you can gauge them by their appearance, ticks, expressions, etc. That is missing from Boards such as this when words are the only gauge to determine whether someone is really who they seem to be behind the alias. It's impossible to know for sure and that why people should be more judacious in providing personal information... Jim That I can agree with, however I am not sure that it follows your original post. Maybe you just used a bad example. Maybe we are arguing two different points. I know you want to keep your family safe, but you can't let that interfere with life. I mean first it is the Internet, next it is the yearbook and then the beach. Where does it end?
  9. You are all over the board lately with your collecting style..

  11. That is nothing but a wild assumption. It could have happened anywhere, a yoga class for example. Unfortunately for all involved, it occurred here. Sure...and if you read the rest of the paragraph I say so. Regardless, it happened here... Jim Yes, but to say the posting of those pictures on this board are responsible for that whole fiasco is reaching. Those pictures meant nothing. It was the desires behind the two individuals that created that situation.

  13. If you need me to Kenny, I can curse for you. It doesn't bother me at all.
  14. We all have friends here that we share personal and private things with; however, I thought that is why we have the private messages system aka PMs.
  15. Fixed that I actually funded these with the sale of my Harley. I go married four years ago and it worried my wife too much when I rode, especially when my son was born. Nowadays, I am mainly pecking away at a few runs like pre-Unity Valiants and X-Men 201-250. I did just recently finish a nice X-Men 94-143 run. Spidey 100-200 is my next big project but I don't expect to add more than a few books this first year. Steve on a Harley! That explains your hair.
  16. Though I suspect our budgets normally look a bit different at full-strength, I hear you. Which Spideys are you picking up? 134, 135, 136, 137, 147, 148, 149, 168, 186, 187, 189, 191 & 197. And as for you Dr. Watson. I do have a nice ungraded 129. One of my goals for 2008 is to get it graded and I'll post it here when I do. It is a nice NM+/NM/M book but it has some distributor overspray - not sure how much that will knock it down. Nipples.
  17. Wow, John. Sweet book. You could probably trade that to CAL for a... ah... an Iron-Man Sub-Mariner #1.
