  1. Montreal comics stores - best and worst? After a long absence what are the best shops? I'll give a running of the shops that were around those years ago, and what I liked and what I didn't. Cosmix - out of the way but the shop was clean and comics accurately graded. Fair prices. Capitaine Quebec - the owner, Sam, was somebody who obviously didn't like children - strange that he would be in a business that caters to them. Not recommended. Heroes - decent shop. Komico - owned by Lee? His brother Butch came to my house to trade some comics. I was very young, and with my parents watching, he lied and scammed and must have laughed all the way to the bank. Why so many scammers in Montreal comics? Never forgot that. Librairie Astro - Paul, Betty, Jim. All rude. Clean store but unpleasant. 1,000,000 million comix - owned by Gerry Ross, that place was a joke. Comics graded two grades higher than they should be. An autograph session with 'John Byrne' who was not John Byrne, ruining many kids comics. Jerry was partners with Robert Chrestol, who was an advisor to the Overstreet Price Guide! With those advisors what worth is the guide? Max Sealy and Robert Crestol - cranky old men who had no problem ripping kids off. Tell me there are some new good shops. :)
