    This book had eluded me for years. So, I finally was able to get the book that had eluded me for years. Michael Turner Presents: Aspen #1 Wizard World Chicago Variant at a 9.8 grade. I couldn't be happier in my comic collecting career. This book is rare, not to mention, beautiful. Michael Turner was one of the best artists and story tellers out there, in my humble opinion.     I finally got a matching set of... I finally got a matching set of 9.6 Uncanny X-Men #141 and #142 for an incredible price. The movie buzz should only make those prices go higher. And if the movie is a blockbuster, I would imagine those books will stay valuable, even at a 9.6 grade. Needless to say, I'm ecstatic!! To see old comments for this Journal entry, click here.     2 9.8's and 1 at a 6.0 and 5.5... I'm pretty happy with my first four submissions. It was what I was expecting. My Fathom Preview Special #1 and Fathom #9 Holofoil both graded at a 9.8, and Amazing Spider-Man #51 at a 6.0 and #52 graded a 5.5, respectively. I think it's a good start. It put me in a good position in the Fathom #0-14 rankings as well as surprise me a little bit. I haven't decided yet what is going in next. Let's just say that my first four did well.     CGC has my first four comics. So I sent in 2 Modern comics and 2 Silver Age comics to get graded. Here's the list: Fathom #9 Holofoil Edition Fathom Preview Special #1 Amazing Spider-Man #51 and #52 I'm pretty excited about the possible outcome of what the grades will be. I'll be patient.     I listed my first two... I listed my first two CGC comics the toher day. I was proud to be a part of the CGC family and get listed in the Registry. I guess I will have to make my way up the ranking a little bit at a time. But I think it's all about having fun and letting others enjoy them as well. Here's to my first two as I lift my glass...
