  1. Hey, I'm wondering if anyone here might have some insight on Tim Sale Long Halloween pages? I have a few I'm thinking of selling, but I've been AWOL for a bit and haven't been paying attention to the market. According to the top of this thread, an A-level page should sell for $5-10k, but then I see this one from the last Heritage Auction. https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/tim-sale-batman-the-long-halloween-1-story-page-24-original-art-dc-1997-/a/7266-94089.s?ic4=OtherResults-SampleItem-071515&tab=ArchiveSearchResults-012417 From my point of view, this seems like the epitome of an A-level page. It's a nice enough panel page, has Batman and Catwoman in distant silhouette. But it sold for $21k. Is there something I'm missing here?
  2. hahaha, tell Jimmy to PM me, Felix. He might be close to a deal.
  3. Yeah, I'll definitely consider serious offers. I value the art pretty highly, but considering the nature of the piece, I can imagine that others might value it even more strongly. I'd be crazy not to listen. Anyone who wants to make an offer over PM or through CAF mail, I'll be happy to give it consideration.
  4. Posted this in the Modern OA thread, and someone suggested that I post in this thread as well... I'm really excited that today I added this piece to my ComicArtFans gallery. At this time, it's the only piece of published Saga original art that exists, so it's pretty amazing that it's in my collection. I hope you all enjoy taking a look! 5. Today seems like as good as any time for my first post in this thread. Most of my OA collection is modern, including this piece which I just added to my gallery today. Saga #7 Ghost Variant Cover Art by Paul Pope
  6. Probably just Baltimore. After purchasing art, there's no money left in the travel budget!
  7. It's always good to have goals! I have a goal of having my post count catch up to yours.
  8. Pretty sure if #26 ever goes up for sale, that could lead to a feeding frenzy among 3-4 people. Fortunately, no one has been made any promises on first right of refusal. It could be a lot of fun to watch.
  9. Not too many Hero covers out there, Mr. Branget. Is that her on #7?
  10. It's been over a year since I made a gallery update, so today seems like an excellent opportunity! First, this great splash from Batman: Year 3 by Pat Broderick and John Beatty: Batman: Year 3 And then two new, stunning covers for Y: The Last Man by Massimo Carnevale: Issue 57 Issue 24 Thanks for looking! Greg
  11. After about a year of trying, I finally achieved one of my collecting goals this week. I've been looking for a nice Long Halloween page featuring Batman and I'd definitely say this one fits the bill! Long Halloween, Issue 10, Pages 16-17
  12. I hadn't updated my gallery for a while, so I thought it was time to throw in the new jewel of my collection. Thanks to Mike for pointing me in the right direction and to Shannon for working out the deal with me! Unfortunately, my scanner is neither big enough nor of a high enough quality to do the work justice (the colors are MUCH more vivid in reality), but I have to work with what's available! Cover to Y: The Last Man #9 on CAF
  13. This probably isn't a huge deal to everyone, but it does represent the completion of one of my long-term collecting goals. It's been a trying couple of days with world events for me, so sharing this can provide me a glimmer of light... I present to you... Y: The Last Man #48... My Gallery
  14. After surviving their long trip across the Atlantic and what seemed like months of waiting, I finally have my newest acquisition in hand... the complete three-page backup story from Fables 55 by Inaki Miranda. Page 1 Page 2 Page 3
  15. Since this has finally been announced, I guess I'm allowed to post it. My first post here... the cover to Ex Machina: Inside the Machine Vol. 1 by Tony Harris: Enjoy!
