Nice pickup and nice looking copy! I'm reading Men of Tomorrow now, and they have a b&w picture of it, and describe the influence it had on Jerry Siegel.
-
Sorry for your loss Keith.
-
Great book and cover Jayman! I've owned a couple Northfords, and the cover colors are phenomenal. When Metropolis bought the collection, they described the colors as practically dripping off the covers, and its true.
-
Great book Jayman, and one you don't see too often. One of the best in the run, IMHO.
-
Great books Ang!

Nice looking JIM 105. I always liked the yellow Marvel covers from that era, and the colors on your copy are exceptional.
-
All good picks Sterling and Norinn (no "maybe" about Mister Mystery 12). I'd add the following:
-
Nice copy of a tough book!
-
Nice book Jayman! Every time I see that cover I like it more.
-
Great cover Jayman!
-
Beautiful copy of a classic cover!
-
Congratulations! Beautiful book.

This one puts me 1 issue from completing a mostly high grade run of one of my favorite "silly" Marvel titles... (only # 13 to go!)
I always liked Not Brand Echh. I took my screen name/ ebay id from the first story in #12, a takeoff on Camelot called Comiclot, which I thought was oh so clever when I first read it back in the sixties.

Billy's copy looks much nicer than the Cage copy on Comiclink, based on the colors on the cover and page quality. Apparently Cage also had an October copy that graded VG/F 5.0. Its pictured in the 2005 Metro catalog at p. 81.

Congratulations on the post count and the book! My all time favorite pre-code horror cover.
-
Excellent, CL! You don't either of those books very often.
Thanks Adam. Since you seem to have pedigree copies of a lot of these books, the rest of us have to take what we can get.

From weekly Heritage auction:
Baffling #10
Voodoo #6

Great report Scott. Like Bill said, it made me feel like I was there. And class move paying him fmv for the phenomenal Detective 15 recreation.
-
Cool book Jayman! I've never seen that one before. The skeletons look similar to some of the Story covers, Mysterious Adventures and Dark Mysteries.
-
Nice looking copy of great book, one of the best covers in the series! When I saw you user name I immediately thought of Spook #22, great L.B. Cole cover of Headless Horsemen. (I don't have a copy. ) Welcome to the boards!

and No. 13, which Overstreet describes as a Surrealistic cover -
Not quite Dali-esque surreal -- but pleasing nonetheless!
Now if we only knew what the interior art looked like!
Good point. I bought it slabbed from a Greg Manning auction in 2001. I'd like to get a reader copy or maybe I'll crack it open one day. Your books have great covers, excellent colors. What are the issue numbers?

I have 2 Web of Mysteries. No. 3 -
and No. 13, which Overstreet describes as a Surrealistic cover -
