CGC Impact for page defects

I've begun to pull out my comics from younger years and get them CGC graded. In reviewing some of my amazing Spider-man issues with high value I've noticed some printing issues. Specifically, many of my books from Marvel at that time seem to have some type of factory tear (its across multiple lines/books) on some of the pages. I'm curious what impact this may have on an otherwise 9.8 book. So far all my previously submitted books have hit 9.8 without issue and these are the first issues i'm seeing defects that existed when I bought the book.
