  1. Ya I was surprised it went from CCS to graded and shipped so fast. And what was odd is that they got the Magazines from CCS like 3 days before and they still are on SFG. So they turnaround times are all over the place. I agree with others too in saying that if I would have known it would have taken this long, I would have never done it in the first place. The turnaround times were 44 days when I sent them in, as you stated, I ended up waiting well over 90, not including Holidays.
  2. Full press and yes, they did just finally ship on 1/18. And my Modern Magazines are still on SFG.
  3. UPDATE Finally!: 9/4 received for pressing by CCS 12/10 card billed for CCS services 1/6 2 Modern Magazines received from CCS 1/7 22 Modern received from CCS 1/8 2 Modern Magazines SFG 1/11 22 Modern SFG 1/16 22 Modern F/I/S 1/18 22 Modern Shipped
  4. I have an order from 9/4 that was 22 Modern and 2 Modern Magazines, all pressed by CCS. It finally went to Scheduled for Grading today, the 22 Moderns did, the 2 Modern Magazines seem to be a day behind, marked as received 1/6 from CCS, so they are probably are their way to grading soon as well. Scratch that, its the REVERSE! The 2 Modern Magazines are now marked Scheduled for Grading, the 22 Moderns seems to be the one a day behind.
  5. Thank you for this, I have a 9/4 order received being pressed as well, its at 80 days now so lets hope so!
  6. Same here, the turnaround times when I sent mine in were 45 days. At this point I just want my freaking comics back man. If I would have known this would have happened, I would have obviously never done it. I know they have us over a barrel here too so there is nothing I can do. But I can for sure tell you I probably wont ever be using CGC again unless they get these turn around times under control.
  7. Regular press. Haha wow, seriously!? Your right it is 80 days now, Ive been checking this things everyday for 3 months and right when my comics hit 75 days, they change it to 80......this is starting to get ridiculous man.
  8. Anybody else get theirs pressed and still waiting on updates? I have a modern submission of 25 comics all pressed from 9/4, even accounting for Holidays its right at 75 days now. I dont want to bother calling from what others say the response will be, just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat?
  9. 9/4 here for me, 24 pressed, 2 Modern Magazines 22 Modern, still says receiving. I did get charged for the pressing just 3 days ago though, have you? If not check your email invoice/bank account.
  10. Well atleast its not just me man, mine were received 3 days after yours(9/4) and Iam in the same boat, still stuck on received. Hopefully mine updates in 2 days, thats the same exact turnaround time as yours! haha
  11. Eastman and Lairds from Mirage, both issue 3. If mine dont get updated by Friday of next week ill probably inquire. Thatll be 30 business days with no update, some people get theirs graded and shipped in that time it looks like.
  12. 22 Modern 2 Modern Magazine( Ninja Turtles man...) All pressed, Slow Track 9/4 Received 10/5
  13. Hey all, I hope this message finds everyone well! I apologize off the bat if this questions seems stupid or has been asked a ton of time, I did some pretty good searching and couldnt find any threads related to this so I figured id make my own. The question is exactly what the title says, Iam sending one of my comics in to be signed with the CGC signature series but its already graded and slabbed and the instructions dont give much beyond making a "window bag" which I did research for and found out how to make. Do I need to do that still since its already slabbed? Would I need to make one that they are going to put it into and then have signed before they re slab it in the yellow holder? Any info is much obliged!
  14. Iam not to worried about the grading that much, Iam happy with the 9.6, but after you mentioned the notes and "Spare a Grade" forum I think I would be a fool to not take advantage of that. The comic looks pristine to me, but Iam fairly new to self grading comics, Iam a long time card collector/grader but comics is a whole other beast. Ill probably upload some scans and do some more research on the grade itself, thanks! Awesome, exactly the info I was looking for, thanks!
  15. Hey all, happy to be here! Super newbie so I apologize of this questions seems redundant or has been asked alot! I recently starting buying some more collectible and expensive comics for my collection which mostly included some VF older sets and a few newer series. One of them being a 9.6 Dark Knight Returns, Batman being my favorite Super Hero Iam more then happy with the 9.6 for the price I paid. Then I saw that CGC is accepting submissions for Frank Miller signatures and I really want to jump in that while I can! My question being, should I pay to have it re-pressed when they take it out of the current case for signing and re slabbing? Or should I just have them sign it and slab it up? I only ask because it looks like it was pressed before this current grading, so does opening it up/having it sign warrant another pressing or do you guys think it will look good without it? Any info is much obliged, thanks all!
