  1. Dude, if I got rid of all of my GA/ SA books below VF, I'm not sure if I'd have any left!
  2. I wish I could pare down my collection like that!
  3. Wow, John. Sweet book. You could probably trade that to CAL for a... ah... an Iron-Man Sub-Mariner #1. You beat me to the punch!
  4. .....and in return, I get this bad boy: Nice work guys! That looks like a fair and equitable trade. (thumbs u
  5. I don't. I have a pretty good idea of the filler books in my collection that need to be upgraded. I'm planning on getting a scanner over the Christmas break. Maybe, I'll start posting some ASMs in the Spare a Grade section. Have a Merry Christmas MacMan!
  6. These just came in the mail today, courtesy of Quality Comix. I really need to get my own scanner.
  7. somehow, If you own them, I think you have an idea of the value. Unless they were a christmas present? In that case, Merry Christmas I've been working on this run for 15 years and have never bothered to grade or catalogue my collection. I think I'd be very surprised if I ever made the effort to do it.
  8. No idea. How much is a full run of ASMs worth? All the keys are mostly mid grade.
  9. I'll help you cut the gold.... Mr. Point Five, how many in your collection? I hope we have an understanding that that's not an acceptable topic for Friday's dinner conversation.... Actually, I'm quite curious myself. My guess is around 1300?, but some rainy day (or snowy day) I think I'll do an inventory.
  10. I'll help you cut the gold.... Mr. Point Five, how many in your collection?
  11. This is one of two books that still hasn't sold, both Annuals. BTW, sold the Silver, kept the Bronze - don't plan to part with the books I bought off the rack. Do you have an Ann 1 for sale?
  12. (thumbs u Now someone please post some more scans.
  13. No you're not. It'll never end. You'll eventually finish the core run, then you'll set your sights on an AF 15. Once you get that, you'd think it would be over with, but you're DEAD WRONG. You're either going to start hoarding, or you're going to start upgrading. You're probably thinking "oh no, not me.. that won't happen.. I just want a complete run", but just WAIT. You may take breaks and get into different titles for a little while, but ASM will always lure you back. It's a disease, and once it's in your bloodstream, it's for LIFE. I should say congrats, though. Assembling an ASM run is not that easy in any grade, at least not for us non-BSD's. It has got to be the priciest run of books post-1962 and there's always competition at every grade level. I've been collecting ASM's since 2000(though I've only picked up a couple of pieces in the last 2 years) and the demand for these books always blows my mind. It's nearly impossible to get a bargain, whether it's VG, VF, or NM. I wish I'd known all this before I started. Anyone got any of the following for sale in VGish 2-4, 7?
  14. 'Foxes' are on the way... Jon will have to his name after all the books he's been buying lately. Congrats on the books!
