These are my first two from Thailand. I got six more in the package, but these are the only two with the logo in Thai language. They are printed in 1994, stapled and pretty thick, #1 is 150 pages and #2 is 134 pages.

This came in yesterday from Arequipa, Peru... The 'El Tony' series from Columba is my favourite among the international editions, they have it all - cool covers, vibrant colors and stunning page quality for nearly 40 year old paper. I now own 17 of the 38 issues, it will be a tough task to get the series complete, some of the earlier issues are very rare.

Do you know the content of each comicorama is different from one to another? What # are bound in yours? Yes, I know, therefore I think it is pointless to hunt down more than one of each. I buy them only for the extra cover. The numbers bound in my copy are #19, 16, 20 and 21 (in that order). I also have Comicorama issues #1056 (with numbers 29, 30, 33 and 38) and #1110 (with numbers 65, 62, 67 and 66). Of the five different Comicoramas with Spidey covers that I know of, I am missing #1039 and #1083.

This one is quite interesting, I have seen those before but they are very rare, I believe they were some type of subscription gifts. There should be about five different, I think. Nice find!

After more than four years of searching, I finally found the Comicorama issue I was looking for... #1016, published circa 1973.

I have three of the Diamond Comics indian issues, but only one of them is in Hindi, the year printed inside is 1994: The other two are with english text only and are more recent, but I can't find any year printed. Great stuff, everyone! This is a rare swedish album released by Carlsen in 1979. They made two albums of which this is the first, it's ridicilously hard to find - the second one is more common. It has a very thick, heavily laminated cover and excellent paper quality, but since it is glue bound the pages are prone to detach from the spine if the album is opened more than 70 degrees. This is one of the few that apparently has not been read since all pages are attached! Also, the good news for you is that this is my double, so if you have anything interesting to trade, let me know!

That is SO COOL!!! I don't collect Batman, but I would really hate myself if I didn't snag that one when I saw it. Great find!

These came in yesterday: The argentinean 'El Tony' issues are one of my absolute favourites among the foreign issues. They were issued as supplements, and there's only 38 of them so it should not be impossible to complete a set sometime in the future (with these four, I now have 14), but after the supplements ended, Spider-man continued to be published directly printed in the El Tony magazine, sometimes making a small appearance on the cover. I don't know for how long this was, or how many El Tony issues there are to find, exactly. The research continues...

You do that, and look especially for the small size Spider-man comics published by GRECO and CINCO. They were published in the late 1970's and are almost impossible to find today, since there are no Colombian comic sellers on eBay...

If you plan on buying more indian comics, remember to ask the seller (politely) to use packing material of better quality. When I got my comics, there was a 2.5 inch tear in the side of the (very thin) envelope, I guess I was lucky I got anything at all!

In Sweden, The Thing was first translated as 'Bamsen' - a word that is mostly used as a nickname for 'Bear' but also means something like 'The big one'...

The pocket book was published in 1985, there were 5 different pockets in the series, of which three contained Spider-man.

The 'revamped' portuguese version is taken straight from Marvel Tales #137, this cover was also used in Greece. Italy's L'uomo Ragno 18, however, used the original Amazing Fantasy #15 - it was published around 1970 or 1971 (perhaps the earliest foreign variant with this cover) and there were no reprint covers yet at this time. This reminds me of the first time I read the story, 20 years ago, in a swedish pocket book - this was the second time AF # 15 was published in Sweden, but the first time that the swedes (and I) saw the cover, printed in black-and-white inside: The box says "This is a look-back to how it all started!".

Actually it's from the inside pages of Amazing Spider-man #48. Spidey is not drugged, he is just dizzy from a cold. The drug-themed issues were not until four years later,

Pickycollector, what is Comics Soleil? Is it a different publisher than Editions Héritage, or did they just change name?

Got this today from Fantasy Comics and I was pleasantly surprised, it was in much better condition than I expected. This was graded 6.0 according to CGC standards, I think it should be worth a 7.0 at least... the gloss is outstanding and the spine is close to perfect! The cover insides are a little tanned at the edges, how much points should that detract from what is otherwise a 7.0?

This one just arrived! It is rare to find original Ditko issues on swedish auction sites... but sometimes you're lucky! And considering the auction picture I think I made well... I'm so into Ditko now, I will probably have an almost complete Ditko run before I start hunting down the remaining 'boring' Romitas... anyone else have the same experience?

This is to show I don't *only* have low-grades in my ASM run... very nice cover gloss on this one, one of my best silver age spideys! Only 48 to go before I have a complete ASM run...

Well I just got my #28, and although it doesn't look as nice as some of the others I've seen here lately, I'm satisfied. I didn't know what to expect and was prepared for a disappointment with big tears, loose centerfold etc... but really, the only thing wrong with it is the cover wear. The spine is flat and tight, cover and centerfold firmly attached to staples, page quality good (don't know much about how to grade the whiteness but it's what you would expect from a GD copy from 1965). I thought the green colors of the web behind the logo would stand out more, some pictures I've seen the web almost glowing in green, but maybe that's just depending on how you scan it and what scanner you use. So here you have it:

I won this one on eBay yesterday. Can't say much about the condition until I receive it, but it looks to be at least a solid VG. I was a bit surprised that no one else bid... did I pay too much, or is it just the seller's low feedback rating that scared potential buyers? eBay link
