So a bunch of these are still in the combo pack bags? I don't really like the way they look in these and I've heard over time the bags sometimes cause creases or wear. Is there any reason to keep them in the bag and is there a general consensus on this?

Ha just started looking through some more and this one came up next.

So I found a whole bunch of these Combo Pack "variants". Not famiar with them so tried to do a search on it and all I found was an old closed thread here where people were getting all excited about them being hard to find and not much else. Are these still considered hard to find?

Thanks Qalyar! Yea the Grendel was in with a bag with a totally unrelated book and is NM. I carefully thumbed through it and it's a cool little history of Grendel so far with really nice artwork. I must have somehow missed that Lords of Misrule when it came out or most likely just forgot about it. So much stuff coming out at that time. For a while I remember back in the day there were people who would buy anything and everything Elvis. I'm guessing this was semi-collectable for a time but I honestly also don't remember seeing it at all back then or since. Is this stuff even modern anymore?

Thanks for the Info Qalyar. So great to have insights on these from someone who knows. The books pictured before are just what I had at the top if the stack of what I had already bagged and boarded. I don't really know much about this era as I stopped buying new comics around 1993. It's pretty fun going through them all though because they are mostly all new to me and in unread condition so when I grab a stack of them I feel like I just went to the comic store and got a bunch of random new comics in the mid 90's. All of the comics I've gone through so far are from 90-95 with the majority from 94; 95. Still got about 600 more to go through though. Is there anything I should be looking out for or anything you guys are looking for. Here's another random pic of weird stuff in this collection.

OK so my LCS got this collection in that looks to be from someone that maybe worked at a comic store or distributor and would grab random issues and throw them in a box unbagged unboarded but also unread and most of them are very high grade. I helped him go through them and he took out the stuff he wanted and said he didn't really have the buyers for this stuff so offered me the drek for a good price. Got about 900+ books of which about 50% are DC and the rest weird Marvel, Valiant, Image, etc. and some really obscure stuff that I admittedly know little about but pretty fun looking at them all.
