When I saw Def Leppard in Hartford, same tour, they did CCR’s Travelin’ Band for a second encore. Did you get that too?

Maiden — eighth row on Piece of Mind tour, great show and loud. At least comparing apples to apples, small halls, Maiden, the Allmans, and believe it or not, Joan Jett are the loudest shows I’ve seen in a 3,000-seat hall.

Loudest show I ever saw was ACDC at the providence Civic Center. For those about to rock tour maybe? Was 3rd row and I remember going to school the next day and couldn't hear much of anything for the next 3 days.

Saw Saxon and Accept twice. Great show. Saxon rules. Next time I saw Accept it was on a bill with Danzig and Armored Saint in Isla Vista, CA. Rad show. Infectious Grooves played there a few weeks later.

I think the only time I saw Saxon was with Maiden. Saw Accept another time also as an opener I think. Maybe for Kiss??

Powerslave WAS great but our tickets stank and I loved Saxon so they were better than Twisted Sister. I also think they could have left Rime of the Ancient Sweater at home. Would have preferred to hear more Killers-ers material. I played bass as well and learned the whole Number of the Beast album. For me I enjoyed playing Murders in the Rue Morgue and Killers the best.

True metal for me faded somewhere after Powerslave. I liked the hardcore metal bands more like Fastway, Accept Saxon Ruff Cutt etc. My favorite  Maiden was probably Number of the Beast though but actually loved them all before Powerslave.

I saw them 6 times. I'd say the 2 best were Piece of Mind Tour with Saxon and Fastway and then when Bruce Dickenson returned in 2001 for the Brave New World album. With Monster Magnet and Soulfly. Priest was always my first followed closely by Iron Maiden.

Priest was way up there but I played the bass and Harris was a god to me. That piece of mind tour was Excellent! Loved Power slave too!

    My score has been monotonous.

    Round 1 - 5 pts 1 bullseye

    Round 2 - 5 pts 1 bullseye

    Round 3 - 6 pts no bullseye

    Round 4 - 6 pts 1 bullseye

At least 2 points on one book each round but I think those grades are criminally overgraded.

Had exactly the same results except my no bullseye round was in the first. Funny though I had the thought that all the books looked the same grade in the last round but I thought they all looked in the  4-4.5 range. Luckily I pressed the send button by mistake or could have been even worse. lol:facepalm:
