Affordable is when a book is in the price range i feel is justifiable. For example Giant Size X-Men #1 cgc 9.4 with white pages for 4500 is acceptable. 4400.00 is ideal. 4600 i would pass unless the wrap is perfectly centered. So affordable for me is a fair price.

I wish i still had that in me but unfortunately i buy now not only because i love the books but for investment purposes as well.

I just had this discussion with a friend. As a seller/collector of comics, for someone who has experience, you should be able to grade to a degree where you can assign an approximate grade just to give the buyer something to go off. These sellers on ebay who tell people to look at the pictures and do not provide clear pictures should be ashamed of themselves and should be avoided as much as possible unless you feel like taking a risk. Sometimes it is worth it. All i ask from a seller is to assign some type of reasonable grade. The grade for most collectors is one of the most important parts of collecting. How can you not assign a grade?

Why is it that they do not post the graders notes? Isn't that one of the most important parts of sending in your books? I think if i am using their service wouldn't the proper thing to do on their part is explain why I got the grade i did. Then at least i can check the book and verify what they found. I think there is something very wrong with that picture. Is this correct that if there are no graders notes that you have to pay additional money?

Hi folks i was curious about the books that were submitted from other companies to cgc. Those books were sent in their respective cases? If so i read that cgc states that you are not guaranteed the same grade and that the grade may come back lower. Isnt that a bit arrogant on their part? I dont think i would submit those books in their cases. I would just crack them out and submit them. It seems like they are purposely grading them lower so that in peoples minds they see the lower grades and think that these other companies do not grade accurately. It is like a punishment.
