  1. Humberto Ramos. But mostly because I’ve got a D23 Marvel #1000 crying out for signing and slabbing
  2. realitytrip, I had a really good experience in a similar situation here Very impressed with CGC Customer Service for taking the issue as seriously as I did!
  3. Thanks, but no need: submission has moved to Finalized/Imaged/Shipped today! Excited to see the results of my first submission!
  4. So...my submission now says it’s ‘Scheduled for Grading’. Does this mean the pressing stage is done (bearing in mind current pressing turnaround is listed as 60 days and the signing was less than a month ago), or is the pressing stage not covered by a status change? Furthermore, should I be concerned that my comic is shown as having been ‘received’ after the signing occurred (even though I know it arrived - and appeared on my submissions - before), or does that denote receipt at a certain post-signing stage (e.g. grading)? Not getting impatient, just curious!
  5. These came back great! Many thanks for the advice Jennifer.
  6. I purchased SS editions of Vampirella: Valentine’s Day Special #1 (Mike Mayhew Red Heart and Black Heart variants) directly from Mike Mayhew’s store some time ago (before I found the Chat Boards ). The comic was published in February 2019 but both labels note that they were signed in February 2018. I don’t profess to know anything about the industry but I highly doubt the books were printed (and signed) a year before publication. In addition, the Black Heart variant appears to have foreign material (looks to me like some sort of comic bag plastic - forgive the technical language(!)) in both front and back of the slab. Assuming this IS a labelling error, how do I get it rectified, and what can be done about the floating debris?
  7. Thanks Jennifer, that’s reassuring to know.
  8. Hi guys, first-timer here. I’m prepping a submission for the Skottie Young In-House signing and I opted for pressing as well. Can you explain the process to me? In what order do the signing, grading and pressing take place? If the pressing occurs last, will the book be returned unslabbed but with the label? And (lastly), if the pressing takes place first, does the book have to arrive earlier than the signing? Many thanks!
