FYI, this is the 1950 cover (there is a 1948 #1). Yours is actually tied for highest graded for the 1950 cover (1 of 2 8.0s).

Yeah, I saw that on Heritage. Thought it was crazy! At the time there were no CGC graded copies of number 20 as the two I submitted hadn’t been graded yet, but still I thought it was bonkers. I have 12, 14, and 52 in 7.5, 5.0, and 5.0. I’ll probably be bidding on yours if they are higher. I particularly like the cover of #52.

Prize Publications made a numbering error and #59 does not exist. Create a slot for JTG#60A—3887827017. Maybe start by only fixing sets with current unfair results.

It would be a ton of work, but maybe each competitive set needs its own calibration of points, potentially loosely tied to FMV/Rarity with some type of completion bonus but done in such a way that Keys are given their due weight without swallowing the whole points total. I suppose you could start with a formula and then begin tweaking sets over time based on requests in a “Fix the Points of this Set” thread.
